I have had this set for about 4 months now and want to take the time to do a proper review. I was impressed with how sturdy the driver, case, and all of the bits were immediately. However, with things like tools, I feel like looks can be deceiving. The only way to tell the true quality and comfort of them is through use on various projects and time. Well 4 months isn't a long period of time, but I feel I have used these on enough projects at this point to give an accurate opinion on their true quality.For starters, everything I've used in this kit has fit perfectly to its designated purpose. There are no loose fitting bits stripping out the heads of screws and no oversized ones needing to be filed down. I am just as happy about the ease of use and comfort. The driver is well made, perfectly weighted, and just the right size to fit in tight areas while allowing me to still have a full grip when I need to break free a tight screw. The layout of the bits with their angular placement is the most functional on any kit that I've used. They're easily identifiable while allowing constant access to all of the bits. There's no need to shuffle around others to get to the desired one.The entire kit is well thought out and a breath of fresh air with its simplicity. The lid is thick, heavy, and spacious enough to make the perfect parts' tray when I'm working outside of my normal workstation.When I'm working on things, I feel like everything flows from one step to another so much smoother now that I have this kit. I no longer am stopping and going every few minutes to change bits, replace my previously used bits, and to juggle my parts tray into the mix so I don't lose any parts.Finally, I'd like to address the lifetime warranty. Let's face it, there's hundreds of kits out there.You'd probably need a dozen of them to get all the special bits that come in this set. Who knows how many of those bits would be a one job and done tool. I've had bits in kits that didn't make it through the disassembly of a single controller, let alone multiple projects. This kit is made to last, and they stand by that. I speak based on experience. I recently had my first bit failure and decided to reach out to the iFixit team. I will add that this particular bit seemed to be a one off, mismanufactured piece as it portrayed none of the quality I've come to expect from this kit. The company responded to me post haste, and within 24 hours sent out not one, but two replacement bits for the one I had an issue with. Within two days, I received the well packaged replacements along with a pleasant note, and I couldn't be more impressed.I will not hesitate to purchase any other products that iFixit offers in the future. I am happy that I found this product and this great company that stands behind it. I highly recommend this toolkit to anyone, from those who want to try their hand at repairing their own electronics, to the avid electronics modifiers who need tools that last.

This is the perfect toolset if you are looking for some high quality precision tools. This isn't your cheap Harbor Freight or random hobby shop toolset, this is the proven good stuff. Great price too!

I saw this recommended a lot of places, but yeah they really do a good job with this. It has about %99 of the bits you’ll ever need and the case is sturdy and good. The magnets hold the case together pretty well, and the actual build of the bits and drivers are really nice, no corners cut

This kit lives in my weapon bag, the tool, attachments and magnetic case are a very cohesive and handy set for small intricate maintenance and repairs. Thanks to the magnetic case, it will not accidently pop open and spill out everywhere.

High quality set of tools. Thorough variety of bits. The magnetic case is a nice touch. Unlike many other toolsets of this nature the bits are easy to remove and put back into the case holder. So many others I bought in the past were a struggle. The bits also appear to be of higher quality in machining tolerance than some cheap sets I had in the past. 5/5 well-done ifixit!

I haven't used this tool kit yet but they seem to be well made. I should've purchased the IFIXIT tool kit long ago instead of waiting. They are a little on the expensive side for small tools but if they are as good as advertised, then so be it. Good tools are better to have than low quality tools.

I’ve had this for a few months and I quite literally use this kit for everything. I built my first PC using it, modified my PSP and PS Vita with it, and fixed up a camera all with this handy kit. I also use the ridges below the cover to sort screws. It has all the bits you’ll need and it’s just a solid kit. You won’t need anything else after getting this.

This kit quite literally has everything I've ever wanted in precision screwdrivers.I own 30+ precision screwdrivers of a variety of types, and up until now they all had one thing in common: they're terrible. Most are cheaply made and have tips that bend or wear rapidly with use, are uncomfortable, have small handles (often made of cheap plastic) and the top pressure rest either binds with the rest of the handle or is immensely uncomfortable or both.When I first came across the iFixit interchangeable bit precision screwdriver (from another iFixit kit) I realized right away that this was hands down the best precision driver I'd ever used. The handle is comfortable, all rotating parts are smooth, the weight is good in your hand, the grip solid without being uncomfortable, and the slender magnetic bit holder minimizes the working radius at the tip (allowing it to still get into tight places!). The bits are well built and will last, precision made out of quality steel (not the cheap stuff I've gotten from bit kits in the past). The variety of bits in this case is fantastic - everything you need for any project (and more!). I primarily bought it for the pentalobe and the torx bits, but its collection is big enough that I shouldn't need to buy any additional bits for that one random time when you encounter the strange headed screw.The rest of this kit is a pleasure to use. The case is solid, and clips shut using magnets at the corners (a pleasant surprise). And it's really convenient that it becomes a parts tray to keep the screws wrangled. The bits are presented in a foam insert with engraved symbols and lettering to help you remember which bit goes where (and what you might be missing...), in addition to being engraved on the bits themselves. The included flexible extension is fantastic, and has the same smoothness of rotation as the handle with two spinning grips (one at the top, one at the bottom) to extend the overall kit capability. The angled presentation of the bits is surprisingly nice, being both visually appealing and useful in the sense that it's easier to find the bit you're looking for. I've even found that while working on a project I can replace a bit I'm still using into the case and simply angle it the other way so that it doesn't get lost and I can grab it out again quickly. I don't know if it was designed with that in mind, but it's convenient.There are a couple of basic 'normal size' bits included that work with this handle so that you're not left in the cold for other small screwing projects with less precise screws if this is the only thing on hand, but larger screwdrivers are probably better for that (though these bits can likely go places full-size bits in a normal interchangeable screwdriver can't). The included adaptor for normal size bits to these size bits (that allow these bits to be used in a larger interchangeable screwdriver) will work, but isn't great because it lacks an internal magnet.All things considered, I would seriously recommend this kit to anyone in need of a solid set of precision screwdrivers. Don't settle for the plastic crap; I regret every single precision driver I've bought before discovering this kit.
