So here is the thing I absolutely love the product. At first I had some issues with the screws but after contacting the seller they were able to get it resolved for me! I’m huge on customer service! In regards to the sight it works great! It’s got a high vis front sight and the rear sight is good too. On The rear sight you can unscrew a piece to give you a wider sight picture. That would be designed for closer combat situations. The picatinny rail is standard to all others so it will fit any optic you plan on putting on weather that’s a scope or any type of red dot sight.I really like to test out the products I purchase before I review them to be more realistic with other buyers. Again huge thanks to the seller I appreciate you sending me the screws!

I have a stigmatism in my vision that makes shooting traditional open sights more challenging. I learned long ago that a Peep Sight was much more efficient and allowed me to focus on the target more easily and accurately. No more bouncing between the rear blade then front blade and on to target only to repeat again to ensure alignment. The peep sight allows me to just focus on the front sight and target.The Williams Peep Sight and Rail are nicely machined and mount easily onto the standard Ruger 10-22 receiver. I can't believe that I didn't buy this sooner.

If you have a Ruger 1022 you need this sight kit. And it extends your site radius to the maximum, and it’s great to have a real real to mount a scope or red dot too! It is not easy to install the front site. If you don’t have the proper brass punches, then I would go to a friends house or I would look at a local gunsmith to install the front site and to remove the rear sight on the barrel of the 1022.

Great sight but can't even zero it because the screws do not stay tight. I am not new to this sort of thing. I have worked on lots of small components and I know how tight I can get it and not strip it. I take these things as tight as I can go before they start to strip. Then I go shoot a goop.I get the elevation good and lock it down and but still need some windage. Shot another group. Now the windage is good so I go to lock it down tight and the elevation is loose. back and forth you go. After a few times you learn to run it down really tight every time even though you are till making adjustment. Which drastically shortens the life of the threads.The thread should be treated with some of the soft elastomer type thread lock like so many small screws are. Then they would hold better without torqueing them down.A not on product improvement. Don't be comfortable and just keep selling the same item. Improve it. The sight is to high for the rail to be used for a scope. If the center was milled down to the top of the low profile screw heads, then the sights could be at factory height. And then the magnification ring would clear the rear sight. I like to use one rifle for many things. It would nice to be able to throw a VLPO on with GQ rings, like many of my other rifles, and then shoot 150-200 yard plates with the same rifle that I use for squirrels and woodpeckers on the property. I want to love this sight. I love peep sights in general, but this is just meh. I will keep it for now. It is still miles above the BS that ruger ships the 10/22 with. But I want something better for sure.

The mounting screws are a bit too short for a Ruger 10/22. They barely engage 1/2 the thread depth on the receiver. You should get longer screws that fully engage or you risk stripping the aluminum receiver on the 10/22. Make sure that your screws don't protrude into the receiver. Be careful tightening screws into any aluminum receiver. Use a low strength thread locker such as Vibra-Tite VC3 or Loctite purple (222) so that you don;t strip the receiver when removing the screws if you need to.The elevation is a pain to adjust. It is hard to maintain the setting you have when loosening the screw to adjust. The tip of the screw leaves a dent in the rail that you slide the sight on, so when you make a small adjustment it tends to go back into it's previous location. You may have to use thread locker to to hold the adjustment screws in place.Once it is sighted in it works fine and is a very good option as backup sights for a 10/22 with an optic.The better options out thee are way more expensive and this works fine if you know its limits and can deal with them.

Perfect for old eyes. You tube the front sight removal/install, mine was a bit difficult but I got it done.My 10/22 shoots like a dream now.

My ruger 22 iron sights were way off. Couldn't even get on paper at 30 yards. . Only way to adjust windage was with hammer and brass rod. The Ace in the Hole has simple screw-set windage and elevation adjustments, and now I can get 1" group at 50 yards! And I can add a scope if necessary. Very happy camper.
