Q: can we grind grain and nut

No to the nuts because of the oil. The WonderMill does not actually "grind" the grain. It more or less pulverizes it (they call it "micronizing"). For a complete list of all the items that the mill will and will not grind, please go to http://www.willitgrind.com/ Now on the other hand, their hand grinder, the WonderMill Jr. will handle almost anything. The mill comes with two sets of grinding wheels, the stone milling heads for dry material and stainless steel burrs for oily grains, nuts and seeds. I have both machines and love them both.

Q: Has anyone used this to mill sprouted, then dehydrated, (to dry it completely) wheat? to create sprouted flour

My Mom used to do this all the time! We had a good quality dehydrator (Excaliber) to dry the grains first. So yes, as long as the grains are good and dry.

Q: Will it grind dried, whole kernel corn, into a very fine, flour-like consistency?

Yes.. I actually bought a huge bag of popcorn (like what they sell to carnival venders) and I grind it into cornmeal for delicious corn bread.

Q: will it grind chia seed, walnuts and coconut shreds?

The Wondermill milling chamber will get blocked up if you use oily nuts like walnuts. When milling nuts like almonds, they should be roasted and dried or they will get stuck.
