Awesome
We have not played yet, but I know my son will love it! This is an awesome deck with multiple games you can play. I bought it specifically for go fish as my son loves that game with number cards but is struggling with letter recognition. The other games are just an amazing plus! I love how the cards have both long and short vowel cards. Very convenient that the long vowel cards have a yellow star in the corner to make separating the deck easy! The instructions give directions for both longer game play and shorter game play which is a plus for parents when kids want to play but time is restricting us! These cards can really grow with a beginning reader since it can be used first for letter recognition, then phonics and buildingCvc words! These can be used as flash cards, memory game, slap jack, go fish, and more! The company gives 10 ways to play in the box! So excited to play with my son!

Highly worth the purchase
My daughter age 4/5 has struggled with learning her letters, especially lowercase. This card game has made it so much fun for her to learn. It keeps her engaged and removes the learning frustrations that she has had. 110% recommend to any child who is learning letters! And it is fun for the older siblings because it's easy card games for the family.

Great Product
This deck of Alphabet Slap Jack Cards is a perfect way to further immerse a young child into the world of letters and their sounds. What child, especially what boy, doesn't love Slap Jack? But there are several other games included to play with this deck. My 4 year old grandson loves them. The cards can be used as an active way to prepare a child for reading or as a passive way with the learning taking place only as necessary to play a particular game. The cards are good quality. There are individual cards for both upper and lower case letters. My grandson created a game in which we took turns drawing cards and placing them on the table in alphabetical order. When he forgot the name of a particular letter, he pulled out his alphabet tracing board, found the matching letter and, since he knows the alphabet song, was able to name the letter and put it in its place. Great game! I am a former teacher. This set of cards is more than worth their cost.

Great game for kids learning alphabet.
Our preschooler was having a little trouble remembering her letters, so I was looking for some fun ways to practice. She had a blast playing this game, and the nice thing is that it's not relying on her to say the letter each time. As you go around the circle, we all say the letter we're laying down, so she gets the extra reinforcement of hearing and seeing the letters multiple times.I also really like the flexibility, that we can do only uppercase, only lowercase, mix them, or play a different game altogether, like memory. The pictures on the cards are really intentional to picks words that make the first sound the kids learn for letters (like choosing words that have the "guh" sound for "G" instead of words like "giraffe" that are confusing to preschoolers. The cards also seem fairly sturdy so will hopefully hold up for longer than some of our other other card games have! :)Thanks for a great product!

Great Card Game for Preschoolers!
This card game is perfect for pre-schoolers. The cards are sturdy, brightly colored and well designed. The pictures are super cute, and my daughter chuckles every time she sees the capital U with the underpants on it. The letters are bright, big and easy to read; the pictures help distinguish confusing letters like lowercase u and n, b and d, and lowercase l.Included with the directions for Alphabet Slapjack are multiple other games, including flash cards, go fish and memory. My 4 year old prefers slapjack, but we've tried them all.I came back to the product not just to write a review, but also because I am buying 2 more sets as part of her end of the year teacher gifts.
