So far so good.Electrical is a bit funky but if you know the trade you won’t have a problem.I must admit I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this at such a good price but I’m glad I did.************UPDATE AFTER 4 FULL WEEKS OF OPERATION****************This unit is working like a charm and now I am ready to purchase 2 more units.This thing is so quite that I sometimes forget to shut it off in the morning.It's when I leave the room and find that the rest of the house is so much warmer do I realize this unit is on.If I could change anything it would be that the remote control would light up when you push a command-I guess some models do but this one doesn't-other than that it's a steal at this price.Thank you Klimaire!UPDATE***** Ok I take my 5 star rating back and now give it ZERO stars due to the fact you can not contact them as no live person picks up the phone-when I leave a message nobody calls back-so if your looking for some wall art this is what your looking for, otherwise buy something else.I have filed a complaint with the BBB and am waiting to hear back from them to see if maybe they can help.

Ordered 2 units. Both arrived and were installed. One works great...very quiet and does a good job. The other does not work. The outside unit has a problem. The fan has never kicked on and after turning the inside unit on it begins flashing F1 error code after less than 2 minutes. I've contacted the company for warranty service and they are in no rush to take care of it. I have to register the unit before warranty claims can be made but their system wont even let me register it. If you buy this and it has issues you could be in for a long fight to get it resolved.Update: after 2 more weeks with a non functional unit and several attempts to contact the seller (seller only responds when Amazon contacts them) I've had to escalate to Amazon buyer protection. While this product appears to be a DIY product, the warranty requires it be installed by a HVAC contractor (you'll find this out if you need warranty service). I am a licensed general contractor and have years of experience with different types of home improvement but do not qualify to install this 'DIY' product and maintain the warranty. The seller is willing to 'do me the favor' of allowing me to purchase an additional unit and have the defective one shipped back (at my expense) at which time they'll credit my card for the purchase price. Bottom line is, as a professional, I strongly recommend not buying this unit from this company.

Unit was easy to install, but the instructions could be better. Both the indoor and outdoor units are extremely quiet. The package I purchased included a wall mount, which proved very useful in my application. The description stated while the unit was pre-charged for up to 25' of line, the package only came with a 16' lineset. Upon arrival I discovered that the pacakge came with 25' of lineset and control cable. This worked for my application, but you may find you will need to shorten the lines. I ordered a vacuum pump, gauge set, and installed the unit myself. It has been working great for several weeks now and I would definitely buy this system again.

Amazing product. We had these units in Iraq and I had to have one, so I purchased it to cool and warm my garage. In Texas its a must and a pleasure to have. It's a 110v unit and very easy on the electric bill. I actually calculated a $36 yearly increase in my electric bill, not bad at all and it runs 24/7.

This is the second Klimaire heat pump I've purchased. I flip houses and it's great to offer a home for sale with a heat pump that both heats and cools the home, generally at a fraction of the cost of a central heating system. I get a licensed installer to do the install to ensure the warranty is in force, but it takes him less than half a day to have the system up and running. This unit arrived on time, in good condition, and will be installed in about a week. Thanks again for great response!

The unit stopped working. The seller provided warranty claim form which is impossible to fill in. They are also requiring a fee to ship replacement parts and shipping back defected parts at my own cost. This is unacceptable. This is just warranty denial arunaround and a sad way to discourage a claim for a defective product. I would just flat out pay for the parts out of pocket, but that option seems to be unavailable as well. I am very dissapointed and I bought two of these units. $1600 spent and not even a parts replacement option. BS! Buyer Beware
