Solid bottom bracket
I was looking for a bottom bracket to replace my factory installed Shimano unit. I chose this one as it threads together locking both sides together making for a more solid connection. I also liked that the cups and the crank spindle rest on nylon inserts. This means no metal to metal contact with the bearings and spindle. And no metal to carbon contact with the cups in my carbon frame. After a 1000 or so miles on my new bike I started to notice chain rub on my front derailleur. This continued to worsen and I couldn't adjust it out. The new bottom bracket fixed this issue and it felt immediately stiffer when powering up steep climbs. Installation was a breeze and it has remained solid after a couple hundred miles. We'll have to see how long the factory bearings last. At least they can be replaced independently of the threaded shell. My cranks also spin with far less drag than the Shimano unit which is nice but the best part for me is zero chain rub.

Subpar quality, lasted 1/4 of the time of the stock, plastic shimano BB
Seemed ok at first. But lasted less than three months and less than 200 miles (Sept to May including numerous months of no winter riding). Now the right side, crank side, bearings are shot. Sounds like my bottom bracket is full of rocks.Disappointed that I paid this much for an "upgraded" bottom bracket that lasted about 1/4 as long as the cheap stock bottom bracket.EDIT: the company has been surprisingly responsive. I contacted them because they advertise a 2-year warranty and mine last just a couple months of riding. They were very quick to response and offer solutions. Top marks in that regard!

Make sure to have proper tool when installing
This will remove any noise issues from press fit style BB. However, the edge for threading is very thin, so have a proper tool (O shape lock tool instead of C shape) as C shape could result in notch being damaged. Otherwise, a good product.

Smooth, quiet and easy to install
Easy to install! Eliminates the need for a bottom bracket press. Installed them in an empty bb shell in only a couple of minutes. Bearings are buttery and much better than the stock model installed on my Giant TCR 2. The threaded press fit feature makes it easy to eliminate the dreaded bottom bracket creak.

Must buy for creaky bottom brackets
I own a trek Stache. The bottom bracket has creaked basically since I’ve owned it. Since installing this I have had super quiet rides and my sanity has been restored. Curious to see how long the bearings last but as of now I couldn’t be happier

Press in Shimano bb replacement
Worked great for my 2011 Giant Trance. Replaced stock bottom bracket with part # SM-BB91-41A
