More than a cook book
My wife adores this cookbook! Every recipe she has made has been excellent and "restaurant-worthy"! Thank you for the delicious meals and bringing us back to Maine every time we make them. Please write a sequel!

Top 5 Seafood cookbook
I am an avid cook and have quite a collection. I was searching for a seafood cookbook that of course had great recipes but also more information on seafood selection and preparation. Well this is it. Written by a Maine family who has been around the ocean and runs a seafood business. Insightful family story, with insightful information and recipes. Cooking my way through every recipe right now. Bought 15 and sent them to friends who are doing the same.

Good read, great recipes.
Really enjoyed the family stories along with great recipes. Often buy seafood at Harbor Fish from these same people! Liked the book so I sent one to my son in Houston. He's already tried a couple of recipes out on his Southern in-laws!

Wonderful cookbook and history of founders.
Thanks to the owners and founders of the Harbor Fish Market for publishing such an entertaining and informative book. Along with the friendly and helpful people who work there, I think I most enjoy the clean and fresh smell of the ocean when a person comes through your front. I wish you continued success and good health for many years to come.

Terrific recipies!
My wife heard of about some of the recipes on "Food Schmooz." I ordered the book for her and she loves it.

It's a poor example of Maine seafood Recipes
It's a poor example of Maine seafood Recipes. Faux additives and esoteric spicings etc. is starting to get ridiculous on the Portland Foodie scene.Seafood became famous as a Maine product because you could actually taste the specie and not the spicing. Over priced also for sure. If you want good plain recipes go to Bayley's Lobster Pound, Pine Point, Scarborough, ME and click on recipes. Those are original and excellent. The Maine ingredient is the hero, and not the convulated mixture of spices and liquids.

GREAT BOOK
I purchased this book for a Christmas gift. I did read it before wrapping. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Being a native Mainer and from thegreater Portland area I could relate to the family, fishing, the coastal area and the great recipes in the book.

And she loved it ..carries around with her and refers to it often..we have actually purchased fish from the market when we visit Portland and we stay at the Regency..certain places we frequent are Harbor Fish, J's and of course Gritty's..and always stay at the Regency
