These cymbals are by far the best you can buy at this price range, hands down! I waited years to get them, but I’m so happy with them. Incredibly crisp and powerful. Highly recommend

Many sets are a good value in terms of the cost of the set compare to the cost of buying each cymbal individually, but many reviews will tell you that it isn’t worth it because one or two cymbals are garbage. For me, there isn’t a bad cymbal in this set. The hihats are the standouts to my ears, but there are some days when I think the ride is even better. The 16 inch crash starts dark and gets warmer the harder you got it/the longer it resonates. The 18 wasn’t as complex for me, but there are times when I’m playing blues or jazz and I think, man that’s perfect. To me, that’s a sign of a good set. I have a different favorite each time I play. The old rule is to play each cymbal before you buy it, and it’s a good rule. With the pandemic, I found it impossible to find all the cymbals I wanted to test in person. After 4 music store, the only thing from this set I found in person was the hats, and they impressed me enough that I took a flyer on the rest of the set (after listening to Memphis drum shop and my cymbal.com). I’m glad I took the risk, for me it paid off, and Amazon was the old place I could find the set at the time of purchase. Sold out elsewhere. Delivery was good, everything arrived pristine and intact. My biggest worry was it would ship and be cracked on arrival. Again, it’s a risk I took because I couldn’t find it on Sweetwater or elsewhere. I’m the end, worth it because it arrived in mint condition with only minor abrasions on the cardboard box. Goodluck drummers. I couldn’t be happier. I hope you find something you feel the same way about.

Met all of my expectations! The 20” ride sounded better with two small silicone dampers. I owned Zildjian cymbals 50 years ago. Unfortunately my son lost them. Recently I started playing TAMA drums with TAMA cymbals. I compare those to garbage can lids. Zildjian cymbals are the best. I’m a fan. I have a 20” ride, an 18 and a 14” crash and hi hats. LOVE THEM! The dark K cymbals perfect for my venue!
