Feels weird reviewing a trash can, but here we are. It is a big step up from the foot pedal type. It is an attractive stainless steel, and so far, works perfectly. We will see about longevity, but for now, is great. Looks really nice in the kitchen and the sensor is very responsive. And it was more affordable than almost every foot pedal type i found. Hopefully it hold up as far as electronics go, I would certainly buy again.

I saw several reviews complaining this trash can was smaller than advertised so that did worry me a bit but it is 13 gallon like it says. I use 13 gallon trash bags and they fit just perfect. When the can is full and you pull the bag out it is about as full as it can get. So the size is not an issue. It was in perfect condition. No dents, scratches etc. I also saw a couple reviews where people said the ring that holds the bag in was too tight. I did not have that issue either. It slides right on. All in all so far this is a great trash can. I love the motion sensor lid and it works great. I cannot speak to durability this soon but will update this review after I’ve had it for a while.

This trash can is everything as described and more! The true red color is beautiful and enhances my kitchen accents! It flips its lid as if a salute and closes automatically; or if need be, with a touch of a button, it opens & closes manually as well! The shape and size are perfect as it fits in most anywhere; especially in my tiny kitchen where it is the center of attention! The price was an unbeatable bargain and it’s the easiest to empty & load without fuss or muss! I use scented 13 gal garbage bags that easily fit without any excess plastic overlap! I recommend this automatic trash can for anyone who wants to decorate their kitchen with function and style!

This is my second one. The first lasted 10 years and worked fine but the plastic rim that holds the lid cracked and was always slipping. I love this trash can. The only issue I have with this new one is it shuts louder than the last. I wish I could adjust the tension for closing. Still a good product.

Fancy, the sensor works well, and it’s well made, so far I like it, I would buy if you’re looking for a hands free trash option. Does take 4 c batteries just to warn you.

Background, we have had at least 3 other automatic touchless garbage cans over the years. Fortunately, we've had pretty good luck with all of them. We've been using this particular trash can for about 2 weeks now in our kitchen. It arrived well boxed with zero noticeable defects. It overall is quiet, the lip automatically pops up pretty quickly as expected. It stays open for a reasonable amount of time to allow you to add your trash without worrying about the lid quickly shutting on you. The opening is very generous. It seems durable and fits well in the kitchen. One thing we didn't consider before purchasing this garbage can is the overall can height. This garbage can is approximately 6" - 7" shorter than our previous one. Overall, it's not an issue and we are used to it now. Two considerations though, when reaching over the counter to throw something away, we actually have to move around the counter to operate the can since it is lower. Another consideration is if you have pets, the lower height may make it easier for them to figure out how to open the lid and then investigate what's inside!

Finally found a trash can that keeps odors inside, doesn't fall apart, is of great quality, the lid actually fully closes, and it matches my kitchen and appliances! I can't be happier. It's also, even better, an automatic, which I absolutely love!! It stays upright, and my cats don't try to bother it. The first day or 2, the lid closing was weird--it seemed to slam, but it's almost like it's adjusted to be softer. It's really good. The odor control is the best!!

This was purchased for the bathroom. It’s nice to seal away trash for sanitary reasons and also for odor. Also it’s amazing to not have to worry about our pug digging through the trash anymore! It looks great in brushed steel color. Pretty sturdy but I can see this getting dinged with any slight impact because it’s a bit thin and made from metal. It has a small lightweight bracket that holds the trash bag and pulls the excess bag out of sight for an aesthetically pleasing look. The trash can itself stays in place but it’s not so firmly planted that it can’t be slid to reposition easily. I took off one star due to the wonky motor driving the lid. It flies open with such force that it pulls up a bit on the whole trash can lid when it hits the full upright position. It also slams shut with quite a bit of force. They need to improve this. I own a different brand by Wayfair that I purchased to put in the kitchen and it has a smooth open/close. Overall still a good value for the money so I’d recommend!

as described. sensor works well. buttons work well. seems well built. i bought this trash can for my tattoo studio and i am happy with the purchase so far. i just hope the motor in the lid last. this review is written one month after purchase.

It has a nice colour and works well. The size is great for a recycling bin.
