These dome shapes will be fun for the grandchildren to use with their other magna tiles, however, the magnetic strength of the domes is not as strong as the magnetic tiles that we already have. Also, I wish there were more options for quantity, as well as quality (stronger magnets) in these domes.

Arrived broken. Magnets dislodged in dome wedge section. Working on contacting playmags. No response so far.Agree with other review, magnets aren't strong enough and don't hold the wedges together enough. What it really needs is a profile section that can support the sides of the wedges like an orange slice. Basically, a right angle with an arc on the hypotenuse side.Update: still no response from manufacturer. Good quality plastic, the balconies and other inserts are nicely formed, not choppy. The magnets are strong. They are stronger than magnatiles. Definitely. I also have the New playmags boards (they have a hole in them for carrying) and together the structure is strong. I also have Tileblox. I would say playmags are about 20% stronger and work with tileblox as well. Playmags are way heavier than Tileblox, and that makes them more stable. Quality is very very good. I really like the playmags more than Tileblox, because they feel more solid in the hands. The colors of playmags are bright. Brighter, then Tileblox. Magnatiles are the worst of them all as per magnet quality.

These have great magnets in them and are loads of fun. My 6 year old grandson loves them and so do I, and I'm much much older lol !

I have two full sets of the magna tile brand of magnetic tiles. These are of equal quality. The window pieces have very strong magnets. The dome shaped pieces do not have as strong of magnetism, but we have had a blast creating with them. Love these and ordering a 2nd set!

Fantastic item my little one loves this, but it will grow with him and will probably be used until he’s about 10 and maybe even more as even as an adult I enjoy this. It’s really sturdy and has taken a good few bashes yet still is one of our favourite toys. It is completely open ended and your child can have all sorts of fun using their imagination to build different things. Really good for hand eye coordination and learning about spatial awareness and how to balance things etc. All round a fantastic toy and would love to buy more play mags.

We bought these to go alongside another set of tiles we have and I’m happy that they are compatible. My son absolutely loves these toys and the rounded tiles have added new possibilities to his play. They’re so versatile and his imagination can go wild with them. Exactly what I was looking for, very happy.

We love Playmags! Purchased the 150 piece set for our son for Christmas just after he’d turned 3 and he plays with them almost every day. He’d asked for more sets as he loves them that much so we purchased the Dome set & the 20 piece train set. This is a lovely addition to his collection and he’s loving the new things he’s able to build with the new shapes. As always the quality is fantastic and the magnet strength is great. Really good value for money. I recommend them to everyone I can :-)

I Love these blocks as they seemed to be well built and a match for Lego. However I spent over £150 on a few different packs all was good until I wanted to expand what my kids can build. 6 months later I bought a further £150 worth different packs same company in my amazon history only to find they do not fit each other the size is the same but the magnets do not line up therefore what you build is not straight or sturdy due to the magnets lining up together that causes one part to be higher that the other. I believe this is a batch issue so be VERY CAREFUL ABOUT YOUR CHOICE.Regards Pete

Works well with other playmags sets. Played with most days. Loved this set in particular as it introduced whole new non 2D shapes. So far, its been used to construct temples, microphones and leprechaun traps. Highly recommend
