Placed this in my cartilage piercing on Friday. Woke up Saturday with hives on one half of my face. The same side as piercing. My ear was sore from the time I put this in, until I took it out three days later. I purchased these because they were advertised as real 14k yellow gold. I NEVER have issues with real gold, however, whenever I use a piercing that is gold or silver plated, nickel, or fake, I do. Because of my reaction to this piercing, I am convinced this is not real 14k gold. Very disappointed.
