Perfect!
These are great for our Stihl 12" chainsaw, it fit perfectly! Very sharp, work well for cutting tree trunks into smaller pieces It is easy to replace the chain - it takes less than a minute. Great value for something we need!

Quality begins with 'good ingredients'.
As a metallurgist and engineer, I have found that any good product starts with quality ingredients. In the case of the Stihl chainsaw, they use better materials and superior design to come up with a better product that cuts better and lasts longer. Like most, I look for the best value for my money. Generic chainsaws are less expensive, but I found myself purchasing two or three vs. one Stihl to do the same job. As I did the math, the Stihl performed better and was less expensive in the end.

Great blades for the right saw... Mine is a MS 150 TCE
Stihl sold me a very handy small ms 150 tce saw. Great saw but they dont provide easy access to this blade at their stores. Each store Ive tried to get them from couldn't find them and after persisting they advised I would have to order them... even the one that sold me the saw. Really, you sell a saw you don't stock blades for? The blades are stander design but smaller. they are VERY difficult to sharpen compared to a standard size link. I just try to be careful with the saw and blade and then replace when it is just too dull to use anymore.

Great chain but 20-25% more than aftermarket chains
I can't tell much difference in the cutting ability of the Stihl chain and the two aftermarket ones I tried--other than the Stihl seems to last 1-2 sharpenings longer and dulls slightly slower before needing servicing.
