NIYS Luxury Bedding 100% Egyptian Cotton 40CM/16 Extra Deep Fitted Sheets (Teal, Super King)

The use of the word "luxury" in the description is misleading. There is nothing luxurious about them, they are not high quality in construction and are quite rough to be honest. They wash up very badly and need ironing so if you like a smooth sheet on the bed because they come out of the washer and tumble drier like old rags after their first wash. They are not even a bright white and compared to my older white bedding look quite off colour. Definitely won't recommend them as in my opinion they don't match the description and are a waste of money.

Item described as 100% Egyptian Cotton, but is in fact 50% Cotton / 50% Polyester.This seller should be removed from Amazon!

AFTER READING THE VERY NEGATIVE REVIEWS I ALMOST GAVE THESE A MISS. I'M GLAD I DIDN'T. THE MATERIAL IS FRESH & CRISP. Used over a mattress protector but very disappointed. Very tight fit , resulting in at least 2 corners rising up off the bed.

Very disappointing. Thin and rough even after being washed. Love Egyptian cotton sheets and these are very poor quality. Bought for my mum who immediately washed them otherwise would have returned them. Will be returning mine as not yet opened them. Definitely not luxurious

The first night I slept in these they were way to big... After a wash they fitted perfectly. Are Defo100 % cotton. They are nice sure but don't feel any different to sheets I have bought in the supermarket before.. Am thinking the extra comfort might become more apparent in the summer when the weather is hot.Nice but wasn't blown away.. Had it in my head they would be super soft.. Can one really be blown away by sheets anyway??

Great sheet for extra deep mattresses and I was able to start using my mattress topper again. I’d stopped using it as the fitted sheets, supposedly for extra deep mattresses I’d bought locally at far greater cost, wouldn’t even fit properly without the topper and even then looked awful as they didn’t stretch far enough to cover the sides properly.These are perfect! So easy to put on, look and feel lovely.Will buy again.

Quality is adequate, there's nothing wrong with it per se, but it's a thin, cheap cotton sheet. Describing it as "luxury" is stretching it quite a bit. I bought it for about £13.50 for a king size because I needed a fitted sheet quickly as we had guests coming, but I wouldn't think that it would be particularly great as a long-term thing.It does the job of covering the mattress, but you definitely want either a second sheet underneath or a mattress protector. When you hold it up to the light, you can practically see through it. Don't buy this thinking "ooh, Egyptian cotton, that will be nice", it's basically as cheap as you can make a fitted sheet without using synthetic fibres - although I would think that you can probably get a poly-cotton fitted sheet that looks better than this for about the same price from a supermarket.
