LenoxSimply Fine Chirp Mug, White -

I initially ordered this set thinking the price was a set of 4 place settings, not just one setting with the 4 items: dinner plate, salad plate, bowl and cup. I was actually looking for something inexpensive and somewhat durable because we seem to replace our sets about once a year because they end up looking terrible with chips, cracks, or missing pieces that we have to throw away when they break entirely. However, when it arrived and I realized my mistake I really loved how attractive they were as well as their guarantee not to chip or crack, so I went ahead and ordered a few more settings to try them out.We have a dishwasher that eats dishes - pretty much every set we've had before has had chips and cracks within a couple of weeks and looked terrible within 6-9 months. (The dishwasher isn't some cheap crappy one either, it's a Miele...) Anyways, the chirp dishes were holding up quite well - no chips or cracks or anything odd, so we went ahead and bought enough of everything for 8 place settings.We've now has this set just shy of a year and not one chip, crack, or anything to make them look any less than lovely. I now understand why my Grandma made such a big deal about bone china - this stuff is great! Our glassware continues to chip, crack and break in the dishwasher, so I know that these dishes aren't whole because the dishwasher settled down - it's definitely their quality. Now we're on a quest to find glassware that is equally durable.Summary: Lovely dishes, super durable, truly don't crack or chip, worth the cost.

These are absolutely beautiful, elegant plates. Didn't have any issue with the shipping at all (no breakage). You just can't stop looking at them when set in front of you. They have a regular size, so if you tend to cook on the bulkier side, these plates may limit you somewhat on the amount of food you can place on them. Think more French and less Texas if you are considering them. But if you watch your proportions and love to serve them in a somewhat elegant style, these are definitely the plates for you. I got 4 and would buy them again in a heartbeat.

This is a beautiful cup but it's much smaller than it appears. It barely holds 8 ounces of coffee. And sadly, it really didn't keep my coffee hot. In the 20 minutes from when I left my house to when I got to work, my coffee was almost cold. SAD.

A tip if you love the Chirp pattern ( as I do) but are on a budget: these mix and match beautifully with white china plates of similar weight and quality.We inherited white bone china plates from family members but grew tired of having to jazz them up with varied napkins and placemats. Now we can use them with the Chirp pieces to accommodate our guests, with the Chirp pattern adding just the right accents and punch.DO enlarge the photo before purchasing the dinner plates so you can see how the white lowered center is enclosed by the higher colored border. You'll see that the actual space for food is small ( not unusual for fine round china with borders). .I love Chirp dishes for several reasons:1 I can use the dinner plates along with other Chirp pieces, including the  Lenox Chirp Tall Bowl  and  Lenox Simply Fine Chirp Salad/Luncheon Plate . Coordinating napkins, tablecloths and even placemats are available.By the way, if you purchase the tall bowl be aware that it is NOT ideal as a serving dish but actually soup or cereal sized. Our guests often get soup served in these.2. With the bowls and salad plates, the dinner plates will hold a main course and perhaps a regular portion of a side dish, making the dinner plates perfect for meals. Just plan your meals to include extra plates and bowls rather than trying to squeeze too much food on the dinner plates..3. I don't use these as every day plates. But I have to admit that even if these plates held a mountain of food I'd reserve them foe special occasions.4. I love the way they serve as decorative accents in a china cabinet when not in use. They add a cheerful touch to our dining space without being fussy. The pattern is so appealing.and you can find a wealth of coordinating accessories, from soap dispensers to place mats to dish towels. It always brightens my spirits to see these plates, especially on gloomy, dark and rainy days.5. They are microwave and oven safe. But I always hand wash them. Would love to hear from thse who use them in the microwave or oven regularly.

I am happy I got this travel mug. I have always preferred my coffee in ceramic (does anyone else think metal makes coffee taste weird??) and this travel mug combines the coziness of ceramic with the versatility of a travel mug. The double wall works well to keep my coffee warm, and the outer ceramic gets just warm enough to feel nice in my hand. The best part is that Lenox has a breakage warranty, so my one fear of getting a ceramic mug--possibly breaking it-- is taken care of! The only negative thing I have to say is that the silicone lid initially had a slight unpleasant smell, but that has gone away after about a week of use. The lid is secure and prevents sloshing with my morning drive. This mug is one of those little things that makes my morning more enjoyable.

Beautiful pattern. You actually get 4 pasta bowls (which was a nice surprise), so this is actually a GREAT price for bone china... although I thought it felt a bit heavy for bone china though, so I'm not sure about the accuracy of that.

I like the double walled ceramic mugs and the silicone lids. No handles means it will fit in my car's cup holders. Silicone lid means no spills and it will stay on the mug. This mug is smaller, but still holds a Nespresso Virtuo pour (8oz). All this makes me happy on the road and around the house. Like others, I also run mine through the dishwasher and the design still shines!

Very sturdy and attractive too

1st impressions. Wow it's soooo much better than in the pics. It looks great and alludes premium build quality. The art work is gorgeous and it weighs alot more than a standard mug (double walled i guess contributing to this). I don't mind to be honest as it gives you that feeling this will last. Trendy Rubber lid, fits well. My only slight gripe and it's minor is i wish it was bigger. I think 8 oz is max.
