FaTipDouble Cromato Grande PC Edge Safety Razor

I had a Timor razor and although the fit is great, I didn't really like the finish on the corners (a bit sharp). Plus I wanted a spare one just in case...I like the FaTip more, overall. Excellent fit and finish. Sure, it lacks a bit in the knurling department but it's not an issue.It gives a closer shave when applying the same pressure. It's best used with a light touch, anyway. I cut myself many times during first use.It feels smoother than the Timor with less feedback but at the same time it can become more aggressive with a simple change in angle when shaving.In preparation for the times ahead of us when shortages might become the norm,I decided to experiment so I tried both without lather, just under running water while showering. The Tmor is the winner here, with almost no drag. Because of the large contact area with the skin, the FaTip has more drag and if less pressure is applied, it gets skippy.So now I use the Timor in the shower and the FaTip when I have the time and want a closer shave in front of the mirror, like any normal human being would.

Gives an excellent shave. Nice weight. Two passes are all that's required. Great on sensitive skin.

Luv It, I shave every two days or every two weeks...this model is perfect for frequent shaving, "Il Grande" is best for infrequent use just like my father used during WWII...better than the modern rubbish !

I've been impressed by this razor. So far only used with a gillette silver blue, but I cannot wait to use the more aggressive koi blades. I know this will give an even closer shave. All in a great razor totally different to the muhle r101. I find the fatip glides across the skin a lot easier
