Protein Milkshake is perfect
Ive tried many protein powders. Usually they are grainy, have aftertaste and are generally unpleasant. Red Mills Protein is the best. Turns fresh fruit, a little ice, and milk into the best fluffiest milk shake from the ince cream fountain. No graininess or oily feel, and dissolves quickly.

Keep up with your protein needs!
This is a great product. A lot of pure whey proteins are much more expensive, but this one is perfect and reasonably priced. If you eat it every day, and I do, this is the way to go! No additives, flavors, no sugars, has a wonderful mild milk-like flavor without the milk proteins that activate gastric problems. This is a great way to get your 30 g of protein first thing in the morning so that you trigger muscle protein synthesis.

Bob’s Red Mill Whey Build Muscle Use in your smoothies or baked mixes
I have sarcopenia and use Bob’s Red Mill Whey to build up my muscles. It is wonderful in smoothies, 1/4 cup gives a good amt of protein and has an agreeable not too overpowering flavor which can be masked by fruit and stevia glycinate liquid from NOW products, my go to for plant based sweetener that has no aftertaste (MY palette.) This brand Whey, Bob’s Red Mill dissolves very well in the blender or can also use a milk frother like aerolatte if just making without fruit. I recommend.

It’s mostly good
Bought this to add to smoothies for a picky eater. Could not use the full 1/4 cup because they said the flavor was way too strong. Compromised down to 1/8 cup and that was ok and gives a mild, faint taste of milk. I added it to all kinds of baked goods without them noticing even though it seemed to make the foods a little bit denser.

I’LL BUY IT AGAIN,
Has no taste and does not interfere with the foodsI’e used it with so, assuming its filled with protein like they say, I think it’s great.

Be Aware of this....
Bob's Red Mill has always had quality products and I just started using this protein powder. I had done some research that whey protein could have a beneficial impact on HDL/LDL cholesterol numbers. Don't know if this is true yet but thought I'd add it to my diet. First time, I used less than a teaspoon mixed up in oatmeal. Within an hour I had terrible cramps, gas and nausea. And my tummy was making burbling noises. It did subside after I took a gas pill, but took the rest of the day to stop burping and cramping and go away totally. I then read up some more on whey protein, and sure enough, this is an effect on some, but not all people, of taking whey protein. I did not know. So if you try it, go with a small amount first in food--not the 1/4 cup they recommend on the package, as a 'serving size'. I'll continue to try small amounts to see if I can get used to it, and if it has any beneficial effect. The powder itself it quite fine, and only has a mild malty or even nutty flavor that will not interfere with anything you add it to. But I think that to start with a 1/4 cup as it states on the package, is too much. Digestive issues with whey protein seem to be quite common & I think the package should state that people might start with a smaller amount if they have any digestion sensitivities at all, before taking it.. So for those reasons, I only gave 3 stars.
