Only God can speak about these things.Splendid, astonishing and amazing..!!!From stone to God, whole creatures' long journey ..We are all drops of Ocean of infinite Knowledge, Bliss and Power...Only God can speak about these things.On the bookcover, Meher baba is looking at the ocean...When I went to southern- sea of my country, Korea, I remembered that image of Meher baba's looking at the ocean..When I saw some fishes in the sea, they reminded me of whole creatures' long journey to God..fish to bird, bird to animal, animal to human being....and so on..Thank Baba, Thank God.. for giving me this book .. this is a real gift from God...I haven't read all of this book, I wil read it little by little..And I have read small book 'Divine Theme' before which is included as conclusion chapters of 'God Speaks'.That 'Divine theme' is like core summary of this book.If you don't have enough time to read such a thick book, you could try 'Divine Theme' first.. on the web.

God Speaks from Meher Baba is written in a very understandable manner. Explained are the planes of consiousness, God in Beyond Beyond state (the very essence that IS).Of course I can't claim to know, that this information is "true".Though I can tell that it completely makes sense in itself and it also answered many questions that I had.What is there more to say?If you are interested in God, this book is probably lecture for you. Vedantic and Sufi terms are always described along with the mystic terms. Example: Savior (mystic) = Rasool (Sufi) = Avatar (Vedantic).Also there are many charts and graphics that help to improve the understanding a lot. One of those graphics is there in almost Din A 2 format (it's a little smaller then Din A 2) as a poster. That one shows the complete constellation of God and the conscious Soul along with attributes and always termed in Sufi, Vedantic and mystic words parallely for better understanding.Want to know the very reason and essence of your being and God? Then just read THIS book und you will get many answers.

God Speaks was one of the best books ive ever read. it was a very difficult read, however there is a lot of good information if you have the patience and some knowledge before hand to grasp some of the information. But patience is an important quality in order to get through with this book. The very first part of the book is extremely repetitive and takes enormous patience, but once you get through its an amazing read. My favorite parts were on the actual evolution on consciousness. bodily form evolves around consciousness not the other way around as Darwinism teaches. Darwinism i never believed anyway because its too widespread information thats talked about as fact so dont question it..the rest of the book gets into how the soul reaches into the oversoul, or god in man form, and is very detailed and goes in depth of the different forms of consciousness of god-man and the powers each one possess. one thing i found interesting was he mentioned that one can only reach a 'god realized' state through the form of a Male. This is a book i will have to read again when the time calls for it. there is just no way one can read this book once, virtually impossible.

Meher Baba's explanation of evolution solved my problem with Darwin's (now) unsatisfactory theory, which is based on a series of random accidents that just happen to (accidentally) produce consciousness.As Baba explains, the driving force of evolution is God's whim to know Himself.The overwhelming evidences of intelligence imbedded in the workings of living cells, to which Darwin was not privy, are a reflection of that same divine urge, which moves life in the direction of higher and higher forms of consciousness.Many lovers of Meher Baba are attracted to the incredible love that emanated from this man. As a very cerebral young man with some Asperger-like traits, I was first drawn in by Baba's appeal to the intellect in this and other writings.It will be Baba's love that will ultimately draw me deeper into the new life that lies beyond my fears.Meher Baba made Jesus come alive for me in his writing and in his living.

This book answers the Cosmic Questions in an authoritative and definitive way: What's the Nature of the Universe? How Did We Get Here? Why Are We Here? The answer given to the latter question is that we're here to evolve our consciousness to the point where we realize that we are one with the One Divinity, Who is the Only Being.

I was exposed to this book first by a friend during my school year in 1998. The book has changed my life. It helped me to cope with life problem much easier. It makes you understand life better, what is death and what happens to us when we die? Without purpose, life is meaningless. you become less materialistic. You can cope better with death of the loved one. I think all of us should read this book. I refer to it as a solution to problems. The book will be bring meaning to all the religion, Koran, Bible and Jew. The more time you read the book the more you get out of it, they say one must read it at least five times. I love this book, there is lots of love. God bless, God in man.

This is one of the most creative, imaginative, beautiful books I have ever found in my life. Meher Baba's narrative of creation, consciousness, and ultimately, enlightenment is a thrilling, unexpected journey of spirituality. Regardless of whether any of this is empirically true, or whether it is simply a model of how consciousness may evolve, it is a masterpiece of a book and, even if it is fictional, is stirring and emotional in its message for all. Highly, highly recommended for theists, atheists, and anyone in between.

A HEAVY book both in actual weight and in content. Recommended reading for the advanced spiritual quester, but probably over the head for the beginner.
