Exactly what I ordered and was well packaged. No modifications were required to install and even the connections were the same. Wire colours were even the same.When finished installing and filling with water I couldn't wait to try out the gas as with my previous heater it would run perfectly for 1 fire up then require reset before it would fire again.I went in the rv and turned it on. I had to check for leaks so kinda got busy too. I asked my wife if she heard it fire and she as well as myself couldn't hear it. Damn. I went out and checked and sure enough it was operating as it should. Wow quiet to boot.All in all we are totally satisfied with this heater.

The installation ease depends on the RV you put it into, my Montana required a lot of work.

This water heater was an exact replacement for the one I had. Had never replaced the anode, but will from now on!

I expected that it would be straight forward to install since I was replacing my old one that developed a tank leak with the identical unit and it was quite simple to install. Even the wire colors were still the same so splicing the necessary wires was super easy.Just follow the directions especially the part about shutting off all power to the unit.

The product works very well on the gas side but the electric leads a lot to be desired it does not heat the water up hot enough as it should be but on the whole it’s a nice looking unit. I thought the price should probably have been a little cheaper but it is what it is

The water heater was fairly easy to intsall. I noticed a small amount of water collecting at the bottom of the opening, but could not determine where it was coming from. Today, I noticed the wood block under my front jack was wet. Determined it was water, and discovered the pressure relief valve was leaking! This unit was installed on November 15, 2019. It's not even 2 months old. Apparently the pressure relief valve has had a slight leak since the very beginning. I will be contacting the seller to see about getting a new pressure relief valve.

Works great so far, it's only been a week. We replaced the same exact one, so that was a huge plus for install. Fast shipping
