Hall and Knight is undoubtedly one of the best book on algebra. Kindle edition is superb. Very reasonably priced.

In 1964, I copied the Key to Higher Algebra by hand when I was attending Form 4 (which is equivalent to Grade 10) in the British Education System in Hong Kong. It took me four weeks in copying it. The book (the Key or the Solution Manual as you may call it in the US or in Canada) had to be returned to the Hong Kong University library by my brother in two weeks, and therefore he had to borrow it twice for me. I still have the text (Higher Algebra by Hall and Knight) today, albeit retired 11 years ago. After my cataract surgery three months ago, I cannot read small prints without glasses, but I can read far objects or letters 10 feet away clearly. Without Kindle, I may not be able to read Higher Algebra again, one of my most precious books, and life may not be as enjoyable as I do today solving algebraic problems at my pensionable time. Thanks to Kindle; I don't need my eye glasses now. Actually this Kindle version is better than the original text in that the prints are clearer and enlargeable on my iPad. Thanks to technology too. (This review was given 30 minutes right after this Kindle version was downloaded. I am that satisfied).
