Tea with a Gold Dragon
Making tea in this cup is really nice, the cup maintains an even temperature for about 20 minutes without using a cup warmer. It is really beautiful too.

Large Strainer Holes
The cup is beautiful. The colors are nice and the details on the dragon are really nice. It was a gift for my husband and he loved it! However, when you put loose leaf tea into the strainer the holes of the strainer are too large and let a lot of the tea particles into the tea cup making it unpleasant to drink the tea. I had to restrain the tea with a fine strainer because there were too many leaf particles.

The size is perfect

Smaller than seems in photo
While this set is smaller than you would think( maybe 6 ozs) from the photo, you have to remember it’s not an everyday study type of ceramic breakfast mug. It’s beautifully made, the colors are a nice combination of deep red and gold. I would say it’s an elegant china tea cup. It is light like a porcelain product instead of the heavy ceramic you would expect for a “mug”. That being said, I liked it. One caveat, it says to hand wash so I would assume not microwave safe either.

Fragile!!
The tea set has come twice now and both times have been shattered. I am hoping the 3rd time is a charm. It’s is a unique design.
