The item did not have the flash as listed in the title and shown in the photo!Material is extremely thin. Would be great for the summer. It fits true to size and has an even dark blue color. There is no liner and will need additional shaping for an inspection.I would keep it if it had the flash. Sad to return this.

I'm a ARMY Green BERET, RANGER my two Berets, I have now have seen better days, I looked around and saw these on your site. I placed my order according to the size of my OLD Berets, The first one i received was small,the 2nd smaller, the third one was the smallest! I left a message explaining all this, along with email hoping it gets resolved , I need to speak at a school in uniform on Nov. 7, 2019 Hoping this gets done.

Maybe I'm tainted by owning an original RVN beret straight from Hong-Phat in Saigon, but there is little comparison. The Inspection Beret that I purchased is about half the weight of the original and has no lining whatsoever and it's apparent that this item is for show only. The descriptor was correct, it is an inspection beret in the truest sense and would do well in that role. I bought this item solely to add to my military shadow box and it fits that purpose well. It's light, can be folded to your desired position (after you de-crease it, it was folded in threes to fit the packaging) and it will look great under glass. Great for display, but I would venture to say it would not do well in everyday wear.
