Auto focus works great!
I was so happy to see that this worked perfectly with my Canon R6 II and my EF lenses. I used it with both my ef 70-200 F2.8 IS. And my ef 24-70 f2.8. The auto focus is not affected in any way. It works with the AI focus and all. The Image stabilization was also not affected. My only regret is no paying the extra to get the model with the drop in filter slot. That seems like a great option now that i know how well this product works. Highly recommend it if you have a R body and EF glass.

Keep Your EF Lenses
I have several L series EF lenses that I use with a DSLR. Because of this adapter, I can continue to use them with my new R6 II. They mount securely and function perfectly with the mirrorless camera body. Autofocus and stabilization continue to work great.

Essential for those moving from DSLR EF lenses to mirrorless cameras.
I was gifted a Canon R7 mirrorless camera and have a lot of EF lenses. This is a great adapter to allow me to use my pre-existing lenses on the new camera body. It fits perfectly, it is seamless and easy to use. Picture quality has been excellent and it is a good size that is not too bulky. For the price, it adds a great value for what I have already. Autofocus is quick and the weight is minimal. I am very pleased with its performance.

So much better than third party adapters
I had a third party one that failed because it couldn’t support the weight of my sigma ef150-600. Should’ve just bought the official one from the get go!

When it comes to EF to RF adapters stick with genuine OEM.
When it comes to EF to RF adapters stick with genuine OEM. Another product I did my research on, and know people who bought 3rd party adapters and have issues with fitment, loose, auto focus errors etc. This thing works with all my EF/EFS lenses (some of which are as old as 25 years or as new as under 10 years) without a single hiccup.
