its ok. Get the straight clamp
ok first looks its ok, but once I started to fletch with it I noticed a big problem with the right helical clamp, the surface that applies the downward pressure to make sure the feather is fully seated on the arrow, well that surface has dips on it so Its difficult to get a good glue up. And the helical clamp is more of a bent clamp, not impressed. But in all fairness I use a Bitzenburger with the Zenith upgrade on all my carbons sooo yea. I do like the grayling for aluminum shafts and wood. Id just go with a straight clamp and just offset it a little instead of the helical clamp.

Great jig!
I tried two other jigs before I got this one. They worked but nowhere near as well as this jig. One jig had clearance issues when trying to apply glue. The other had problems with the vanes sticking in the holder. Both were hard to clean any excess glue out of the slots. But this jig is very different and gives you all kinds of room to apply glue and very easy to clean off excess glue. It's also very adjustable for different sized shafts and can handle a variety off different vanes. I was able to fletch up a dozen arrows with no issues. I couldn't make this claim with the other jigs I own. Best thing is the affordable price. Yes, it's plastic but it's not over $100 like some other jigs. This is great for the archer who enjoys building their own arrows and using vanes or feathers that don't come on pre-fletched arrows. Also great for replacing those missing vanes we sometimes get.

Good Product
I've used this item for over a year now, fletched many arrows with it. Works quite well for 3 fletch arrows (havent touched the other adapters), using a 3 fletch you can even insert your arrow at 180deg and do a 6 fletch. I've got it mounted on my computer desk so it can dry while I'm lookin up stuff. The helical design is spot on, there's mil markers on top & bottom of the clamp itself for you to adjust your degree offset. I dont find it necessary to use an offset with untrimmed "natural" style feathers fletched on, the helical is enough spin. I'd imagine if you wanted to really use the spin in the wound, you'd need the blades on your broadhead to match the spin direction, but I'm no arrow wound physicist.Mounts well with 2 screws slots at the bottom (use washers), the magnet height might seem a lil weak for carbon shafts. Ever since I switched to wood shafts the magnet seat for the clamp hasn't been a worry.Tip* Make sure your clamp height is adjusted for your shaft diameter and you'll be set. The magnet seated clamp seems like it'd be 'self adjusting' but what really is in archery?

Did not meet my expectations
I purchased this Jig along with several other lower cost plastic fletching jigs. I found this one to be the best option between the three for the following reasons:-The magnet was the strongest providing more pressure to the arrow shaft.-The offset adjustments were the easiest to make and the markings were more clear. This allowed for more accurate degrees in the offset.I did however return this item because it did not fully meet my expectations. The clamp tension is produced by plastic clips and not metal springs. I wanted more pressure on the fletching to make sure it did not shift after I clamped it. Also, one side of the fletching edge of the clamp had a divot (I bought two just to make sure it was not simply the clamp I received and both clamps had the divot). I wanted a uniform straight edge so as to ensure complete contact when attaching the fletching to the arrow shaftIn the end I purchased a Bitzenburger Dial-O Fletch because I feel it produces a more accurate, consistent, and uniform fletching.

Works fine
Took a few tries to learn how to use it, but once I did, I am satisfied with the results.

it's a great product.
Works out well and lines up right. Only complaint would be lack luster finishing; had to sit and scrape with my knife to clean up the mold lines and make sure everything fit well. Outside of that, it's a great product.

Good easy to use jig.
The jig is easy enough to use, but then again I have used ones like this before. The jig maker needs to make video on utube to help others. Priced right, but the instructions are awful.
