Let's Record! Music Player, Pink

I spent a long time looking for the updated version of the kids cassette player of my youth for our two year olds birthday and couldn’t stomach spending a zillion dollars on a “box” that I then would have to buy cartridges or stuffier for additional cash just to have them get lost or be a big mess. No, this is just right. You can record on the ten slots (and then your kiddo can when they are old enough to figure it out), plus my daughter loves to turn the dial and hear all the pre-recorded favorites. ABCs and All Stars are her favorite modes, and I like to play the relaxing songs for her baby sister sometimes. There is also active songs and the recorded slots for a total of 50 tracks (40 permanent and 10 recordable). Only one is annoying to me (number ten on active songs—“tick tock, tick tock, time is running on the clock…hurry hurry make it fun…” it gets faster and faster and the voice bugs me!) We recorded her address and my phone number on one of the slots and she plays it again and again to learn it. We’ve recorded us singing together, too. Recording is pretty easy, but also enough steps that she won’t record over everything herself until she’s a little older. It also has Bluetooth mode, so if you want to connect it to a playlist or stream from your phone, that works too. And there is an aux headphone port, so we may add a pair of headphones at some point. Overall, super well designed, very small and easy for toddler to carry. Lots of fun and not much $$!

For the price, this is a really great item. Even though it says 18m+, I bought it for my 2 month old because I wanted easy access to more music options for her than just the couple songs her swing and play mat play. I looked at other options but everything else on the market was $50+. All the features are pretty impressive for a $20 toy. It’s got a Bluetooth option that was pretty simple to set up, has a headphone jack, and the recording feature works pretty well in addition to the 40 songs available on the buttons. The sound quality itself is honestly not bad for a $20 speaker and the available song options are adequate - some classic songs, some nice learning songs. A few of the song choices are a little odd or annoying if I’m being picky but ultimately everything is fine. I think that my baby will be closer to 6-8 months before she can mash buttons herself to get a song and probably closer to the suggested 18 months before she can use most of the features on her own, but she loves listening to it and watching the colors change during tummy time right now. I expect that this will be a solid 5-6 year toy for her if it’s durable enough to last that long.

Bought this 6 or so months ago for my 4 year old daughter. It is one of the best gifts we have got for her. We have gotten so much good use out of it and its entertainment had not faded. My 1 year old also loves it. The good: works well, has a really good variety of kids songs, encourages sharing with little siblings (“dance parties”), you can connect your phone via Bluetooth, able to do voice recordings. The not great: music volume doesn’t really have a “quiet” mode, yet voice recordings too quiet (doesn’t seem to bother my daughter), the front has colorful flashing lights with no way to turn it off (makes it unable to be used for bedtime)

The best toy ever. My 3 year old loves it. I got it for him when he was 2. Has loved it for a YEAR now. Of all his toy this has kept him the most entertained. He even memorized where each song is on each dial and number. He loves recording new music on there too. So cool. I bought it again for two of his cousins cuz I know it’s the best gift ever

First of all, we love this toy. We buy it for many baby showers and birthdays because our kids love it so much. My kids are 4 and 6 now and it still keeps them entertained. They dance to the music, record their own voices, and the songs are good sound quality, I actually like the songs. I wish it didn’t only come in pink. Also, for whatever reason, even though the product was new, the packaging looked sort of beat up. Which wasn’t the greatest since I was giving it as a gift. But I can’t dock a star, because it deserves 5 stars.

My toddler is 21 months old, and obsessed with music. I initially got this so she had more control over the songs she so dearly wanted to listen to. Little did I know that not only she would have fun with it, but the whole family is entertained. Having the option to record music (up to 3 minutes) allowed her favorite songs to be played on repeat without me having to regulate how she's listening on my phone or through the smart speaker. But this radio is better than I expected! It is her FAVORITE toy, has great volume control, 40 other songs to listen to in addition to up to 10 songs you add, Bluetooth capability, and WOW it has survived many a tantrum by this toddler and hasn't broken when thrown to the ground. The verbal instructions are very clear, enough that my toddler understands. The songs even help her with her verbal skills, and she's just learning to sing to songs more now that she's more familiar with the songs. Just note that although it comes with batteries, you need to replace them with new batteries out to get the full features.

This toy gets lots and lots of use by my granddaughter! She loves the music and the ability to carry it around with ease. Built tough since she's not too careful with how she carries it.

My kiddo loves this thing. I just wish it had more nursery rhymes/kids songs that are known. Bluetooth is pretty cool on it though.

This is my 18 month old niece's favourite toy and also taught my much older son his ABC. American English but very light, pleasant and easy to understand voices compared to most children's music box toys. The different settings for music offer a lot of variety and the record setting has been a surprise hit. No screen and not annoying to have on in the background. By light years the best music box toy available on the market.

This toy is amazing! If you have a toddler who LOVES MUSIC and likes to listen to songs on repeat this is for them! My son is just over 2 and has an obsession with OLD MacDonald, wheels on the bus etc… I cannot sing it anymore. This fixes that. He sits and plays the music all by himself and it keeps him entertained. He can take it wherever he wants. Another cool feature is you can record songs or voice messages too for your child to hear. Great product. Highly recommend.

Está genial, de buen tamaño, tiene control de volumen, entrada para audífonos, botón de encendido y apagado, trae muchas canciones, puede tocarlas una por una al apretar los botones de números o puede tocar toda una sección sin interrupciones. Las pilas duran bastante. Súper recomendada!!
