PROfreshionals Corn Picks, Set of 3

They arrived quite filthy with black grime on the handles. Obviously at some point between coming off of the assembly line and being packed up to send on to me they had been handled roughly and spent time on filthy floors. If the manufacturer should read this review, I'd suggest they cover their product with a layer of plastic rather than having everything exposed. For the buyers of this product, I'd suggest making sure you sterilize these before their first use.As for actual use, I had to wait a few months until corn on the cob came into season before writing this review. At the same time that I ordered these, I also purchased a different set of corn picks that use a screw-in style as I wasn't certain which would work better. Yesterday, we had corn on the cob for the first time this season so I was able to compare my 2 new sets against the older and cheaper corn cob shaped plastic corn picks that most people are familiar with. These work on the same principal as the old style, as 2 nails are attached to a gripper. However, these nails are a bit longer and thicker and I actually found they didn't pierce the cob as easily as the old style does! One prong even started to bend the first attempt the insert it into the cob! I do like that these link together to keep from stabbing yourself when in storage. Also, the handle grip is a good size and comfortable to use. But, overall, these came in 3rd place in my first test of actual use so I don't feel I can give them a higher rating.

Husband loves these. Easy to clean and didn’t rust like others I’ve had. They fit together snugly, in pairs, so there’s no losing them in the jumbled mess of a utensil drawer. Great product. Still great after 3 years. Just now writing my review.

Very study and easy to hold

Bought a couple at our local supermarket. They ran out so I found them here. Works great. Really nice that they interlock. No more getting poked when taking them out of the drawer. Highly recommend. Threw out all the other finger pokers.

Bought these socks for my husband and he loves them!! The colors and patterns are unique, but still completely appropriate for work. The quality of these socks seems top notch. We'll see how they hold up over time, but I don't think we will have any issues for a long time!!

Haven't used them yet--weird how you need them for corn one day, purchase them and then don't end up eating corn on the cob for a long time after! Very cute and look sturdy. Look forward to using them.

Already had a set of 4 of these. They worked so well i needed more for BBQ outings. Had the other 4 for 4+ years and all still are in excellent condition!

I bought these for my parents and they love them. Unlike the cheap plastic holders we had as kids that look like ears of corn, these hold up well and provide a good grip. I need to get a set for myself.
