I have this as a throw over my settee and can vouch for how good it is, having recently seen a cup of tea being spilt all over it. With careful lifting the tea went back into the cup. It's not warm to sit on and it doesn't make you sweaty like plastic coverings. It does need some kind of backing fabric though.

Good value and service

I needed fabrics that are a bit water resistant as my old dog leeks a bit. Great value and easy to machine, washes up great, no complaints and a few compliments from visitors!

I bought a furnished show home ( beds) & large headboards were included, but horrible dark grey. I bought 2 metres of this fabric for each one , deep pink & turquoise. It only took half an hour to recover each one. Now look quite luxurious. Enough fabric left over for dressing table stool cushions.

This fabric is not waterproof, at best it's water-resistant. I used it to make a cover for my car's back seat for my dog to sit on. He gets very wet nearly every walk and, whilst there's usually a small puddle on the cover, the seat underneath is usually wet as well. Also, the wadding where he sits has gone flat after only 6 months use.

As many people mention it has fabric on one side and wadding on the other which is attached with the stitching.
