A Must-Have for New Tanks!
The API QUICK START works like a charm! I used it when setting up a new aquarium, and it helped cycle the tank quickly with no ammonia or nitrite spikes. Super easy to use, and safe for fish—my water stayed clear and healthy. Highly recommend for both beginners and experienced fish keepers!

Keeps the tank healthy
I use a capful with every filter change after a water change. Might not be necessary but I haven’t had any issues with the tank after the initial cycling.

Love this product. I have had several betta tanks and this is my go to quick start. I have never had any issues wouldn’t recommend for anyone looking to get into fish keeping. Easy instructions and fishes seem to thrive.

Seems to be a quality product and not outrageous price, but does it work? Who knows? LOL!
I needed to do a MAJOR clean and overhaul of the primary water filter in my 75 gal tank. I was confident doing so would throw off the beneficial bacterias that filter the water and prevent toxic buildup of nitrates, etc. I read a number of reviews that recommended this product for when water changes were done, not just new tank setups. I can say that after thoroughly cleaning and replacing parts of the filtering system, changing water (25%), and applying this product per instructions on the bottle, my fish and plants showed zero stress and my chemical water parameters testing kit over 2 days showed perfect levels. So it must work, right?

Love this stuff
This shortens my cycle establishment time every time I've used it. A few times I have had to use it after some neglect, or after a filter media change, and it is still awesome. I love this stuff

A must buy for new tanks
Has never steered me wrong. It DOES NOT REPLACE THE CYCLE, I REPEAT DOES NOT REPLACE THE NITROGEN CYCLE. It just helps it along.

It's Quickstart, it's API. It's not bad at all. It does what's supposed to do. Just add it during big water changes (30%+) and you are golden. Good to buy you some time when treating ammonia too.
