Homeschool Mom Tested - Clear Winner
These are actually more than hype - they are the real deal. When you homeschool young boys, you get to see the carnage of a penciled mistake in the student workbooks. With pink erasers, and white erasers, and basically every other style of eraser, you get an attempt from the kiddo - sort of - to erase a mistake, and hope it didn't destroy the work page in the process. You also get teeny tiny pieces of eraser dust - everywhere. That gritty stuff sinks into carpets or just sits there on the desk or in the pencil area until someone comes along to clean it. Add to that, what was supposed to correct a mistake by erasing completely, barely faded it with the half hearted attempts from a young kid to get on with finishing the work. What's left behind bleeds through to the correction making the entire thing an illegible mess.I stared at these a long time, digging in my heels like a sullen kid, just KNOWING that the claims made here were all hype and clever marketing. Equate this eraser with broccoli - you may not love it, but it's really good for you.Pros:- Less mess. The strings are longer and easier to gather up.- You stand a much better chance of fully erasing. The others still show pencil lines.- These last a long time with heavy use. The B80 size is perfect for a grammar school age kid.- Less pressure needed to erase = less damage to the paper. Significantly less. This cannot be overstated.- Seems to "smudge" less than others used.- Kids seem to recognize their value and seem to want to take care of them - they actually keep them off the floor and away from the dog, who is always looking to snatch up a random pencil or eraser.- Work just as well for colored pencils too.Cons:- Maybe "slightly" more expensive than a standard eraser, but it seems to be in a very small degree. Considering the significant improvement over it's primary job - "erasing" - it actually is worth the extra dime/quarter per eraser. This item in the 3 pack is about $4 total - It's cheap enough to test out without feeling like you are destroying the school budget. You won't go backwards or reach for Papermate/Pentel brand again, no matter how many they sell in bulk. You just won't.

Effective, without smudging - best erasers I know
My current favorite pencil erasers. I'm a retired engineer who used pencils for calculation, note-taking, and light drafting every working day for some 40-odd years. An eraser that removes pencil marks cleanly, without smudging or leaving traces is essential. So far, these have yet to disappoint.

Best of the best
I have tried about every eraser for graphite that is available. Just looking for the best of the best for pencil art. This is it. The Sumagrip does the best job of erasing or for drawing shaded areas with an eraser. An electric eraser or a kneaded eraser is still needed for certain tasks. I find this to be the best go to block eraser. I had previously said this same thing about the Mr Pen erasers. This Sumagrip foam eraser is just a little better.

Finest Eraser I’ve Ever Used
I write and draw with mechanical pencils, a lot. Using the tiny eraser on the back is annoying so I wanted some standalone erasers. I tried several including the Pentel white eraser, which worked very well. I read numerous reviews and tried these out. WONDERFUL! It erases so thoroughly and quickly that I can’t tell I ever wrote there. And, it doesn’t wear out quickly, either. Works well on paper or wood.

Good erasers
Amazing eraser for its size, eraser is durable but paper casing didn’t last well in my bag so I replaced it with electrical tape

Worth the Price and More
For preface, I'm a broke college student who took a chance on this. 100% worth it. I love taking detailed notes and often use colored lead with my mechanical pencils, as it helps make my notes easier to use for me. The downside is the most erasers I tried could not properly erase these leads, until this guy came into my life. Fully erases the entire thing, only the dent the lead left in the paper is left.On top of that the eraser breaks up in chunks when using it. None of that particle stuff. This causes the only "downside" I can see in this product, which is that sometimes these chunks can erase other parts of the page. However I still rate it 5 stars, as this occurrence rarely happens and I don’t really know how you can prevent that. A manufacturer would have to choose between the eraser creating particles or chunks, and I would much rather have chunks. It really speaks volumes of the eraser's erasing ability also.
