The 20cm moon lamp is absolutely perfect . The 28cm looks a bit battered and bruised. I have included both in a photo to highlight the difference although i had the larger one on a lower light setting but it does shine brighter if you prefer. However beware of dark shading on it. I wished i had purchased two 20cm ones because that size looks lovely.

I purchased this for my Mum for Mother's Day, yes rather strange I admit, but having always said to her "I Love You To The Moon and Back", I felt it appropriate. Also my Brother died recently which to be honest broke my Mother, it has totally broken her. But, my Brother (like myself) had always been mesmerized with the Moon, stars, galaxys etc. So this gift was also a little nod to my Brother.She understood...She now has it pride of place. She absolutely loves it...It gives the most splendid light, you can choose between white light and warm light which can be dimmed by a press and hold. It sits on a stand which is easily put together, although Mother and Father were certainally perplexed for a while. It was like watching an episode of the Krypon Factor. Dad scratched his head as the magnets kept repelling... oh my goodness! I couldn't watch any longer, I really couldn't, so I easily and swiftly placed the stand together. My parents were astounded by such magic...Top marks for a top product. I was so impressed by this particular one that I purchased one for myself...I totally recommend this beautiful light.

This product was so beautiful and the customer service was amazing! Unfortunately, my moon came to a fault and wouldnt charge nor turn on about 2 weeks after getting it. I contacted the customer service and honestly they were outstanding - they made sure the problem wasn't the charging cable and sent me a replacement wire then when that wasn't it they sent me a replacement moon, no arguments or questions just honest help! They have been nothing but patient and kind no matter how many questions I asked! So impressed - very happy customer! :)

Bought this as a Christmas gift in Dec 2020, by February 2021 it had stopped working. There’s no option for returning for replacement or refund which is what I hate about Amazon. I can’t find an option to contact the seller either so hopefully they’ll see this review and act upon it.While it lasted it worked ok. There are two brightness options, one bright white and the other a sort of blood moon colour. It’s the latter setting that looked best as it showed the contours and craters off better. There was no remote control and to switch between the modes you had to touch the metal charging port on the bottom. The dimmer function didn’t work either. When charged the battery lasted for about 5 hours before discharging. Now it just won’t charge at all.

Bought as a present for my dad who is a space nerd through and through. He said the moon was super realistic as it had the seas (apparently). The 2 light settings are lovely and the base is really modern. Overall an amazing present for a space nerd or just a great gift.

Update: After having had this lamp for a month the lamp fully charges however each charge only lasts for about an hour. Shame!This is a really lovely lamp. I was a bit worried as I'd ordered similar things in the past with faulty switches or poorly made.The charger doesn't really go into the moon socket so much as it sits on top of it which I suspect might break at some point but so far no problems and I did receive 2 chargers.Controls are all touch sensitive meaning you have to tap the actual port that you charge in to change colour or brightness, both of which I'm pleasantly surprised by. Lovely omnious or relatively bright if required.

Nice lamp ,just the right size.I wouldn’t recommend getting one any smaller than this.Looks great in the dark,the lamp is really light weight

I bought this as a gift and he absolutely loved it. It was a bit smaller than I thought (I don't understand inches so probably my fault) but it gives a very nice light. Contrary to what I had read, we only charged it once since we've had it (2 weeks ago) and used it every evening!
