Q: Is the non-stick surface PTFE and PFOA free?

According to Presto Customer Service the only model they have that is PTFE and PFOA is model 07115, which is a skillet versus a griddle. Here is their response "Our current model, stock number 07115, is ceramic coated and does NOT have PTFE or PFOA. All other griddles do have PTFE and PFOA."

Q: How many standard size grilled cheese can you fit on this griddle? I cook for 16 people once a week so size is a big factor.

I just measured, using a slice of bread, and you can get (snugly with no space in between sandwiches) 12 sandwiches. BUT, like anything, doing too many at once may not work. You could DEFINITELY fit 8, feed half the group you make food for and then make 8 more. It also comes with a really neat little instruction book that tells you what temperature to cook certain food at. Grilled Sandwiches get cooked at 325-350 degrees for 5-10 minutes. The griddle is 22 inches long and can accommodate a lot of food at once.

Q: When storing, what are the most compact dimensions of this griddle?

If you have the 07061 griddle, the cooking surface is 22 x 11.5 inches (without handles), the full griddle is 2.5 inches high, 26.25 inches long, and 11.5 inches wide.
