Targus Signature AMP13AP Presentation Remote with Laser Pointer (Black)

A very good product from Targus. Serves the purpose well. Has a very light weight and an ergonomic design with included battery ( which was a sweet thing to do ! ). The laser pointer is good too. Overall a very nice product. I would recommend this to you if you are constantly tied up with presentations. The only downside is the glossy finish on the top which attracts a little dust but it is definitely not a deal breaker.PS: If you think that that laser is not working or is dim, just try changing the battery. 5mW lasers need adequate power sources to run at max intensity. ( yes, i am an engineer :P )

A nice product to give presentations while talking and walking with the audience. Else it was a pain to give presentation as either you have to be at the laptop or you have to ask somebody to click for you. The laser pointer is really good and blank feature is very helpful, especially when you do not want your audience to be distracted by the screen. I am giving four stars because the battery cover doesn't lock properly else it is a very good product.

Excellent presentation remote, with a smart button to swith to either PC/MAC at the back near the battery compartment. Tested this on both PC and mac and just works great. Has a groovy looking green light in the middle when you switch on the remote. Simple controls but very efficient, fits right in your palms! Excellent product and big thanks to Amazon for timely delivery.

although it works great , the only issue i have is the size of device, its slightly bigger than what i anticipated. They also deliver battery along with the device which is a welcome step

Awesome service by Amazon.Pros of the product1. Targus pointer has a simple design and few buttons so no hassles even for a first time user2. Only 2 main buttons - forward and back - with a pointer press for laser right in the centre3. there are two small buttons on the top - one for blank screen, so the audience pays full attention to the speaker - second button for slide show - which is very helpful4. In dark room also the center button glows, very useful in a dark room presentation. Choice of green and red colour too.5. Nice to receive in a deal at Rs 1916Cons1. The back cover is tough to open and as the USB adapter has to be kept inside, it's cumbersome to open every now and again2. Laser pointer has only red colour. A choice of green colour would have been better.

Works very well as promised, however I feel I should have gone for curiosity model, which is pen type device and easy to carry. I have not laid my hands on curiosity but it's range of functioning is claimed to be 10 times that of targus. Can anyone confirm

I have used a lot of presenters including logitech which are twice the cost and over.. This one is my favourite.Compatible with both windows and Mac. I use it on my macbook.Simple to use, even if the speaker has never held one before, that it can be operated without any confusion. Buttons are laid out perfectly and there is a keylock to avoid accidental presses for the slide exit.The laser pointer is red in colour and a little small, although for my purposes it suits just fine.The blank screen feature is an added bonus that blanks the screen, when the speaker wishes his /her audience to focus entirely on him/her, and then can click it again to reappear once the point has been made or explanation has been given.I am a fully satisfied user. Bad design and manufacturing quality. The cover didn't close properly because there are two small "fin" shaped protrudings that must fit in proper slot. They were bent on the first use. They are superfluous and had to be broken and remover. After that I had to break and remove two more pin like protrudings which would not go in the prescribed holes. Such a design requires much better manufacturing quality. If that quality cannot be met, the design should be simplified.
