This silicone brush is heat resistant, and has a solid wooden handle. It feels comfortable to hold / use. It's just wide enough for basting grilled meat, or wiping fond from the side of a cooking pan, back into the cooking liquid (to add flavor to you cook. Fond is flavor!). The bristles are multi-layered, so the brush is very efficient. It holds sauce well, and allows you to get the job done, of saucing your grilled meat quickly. It also quickly removed fond from the side of a simmering pan quickly, adding the flavor back into your dish, with less effort. No more annoying animal hair, or nylon bristles, falling out of your basting brush, into your food, either! This brush is well worth the purchase! Le Creuset is a quality name you can trust. I highly recommend this brush!

The negative reviews on this seem focused on the wood handle getting dry and splitty. I love this handle! But anything made of wood that's put into the dishwasher will dry out and get splitty. Don't do that to it. The head on this baster is built to come off for dishwasher, and when done, it goes back on the handle just fine. (This would not necessarily be obvious.)One of the things I love about this handle is that it's a really good 3/4" muddler! Its end is smooth and ever so barely-slightly convexed (just a teense, many would call it flat).This is not a small basting brush. 2" wide and at the center, almost 1" thick. However I tried it with dabbing oil onto crushed panko breading on chicken tenders just immediately prior to putting into Air Fryer, and it does a great job. I also use Better 'n Boullion paste for stocks which is hard to dissolve in cold water (which I want to be able to use) and this basting brush made a super effective "whisk" for that.Love this tool! For me, it's a definite keeper with hidden multi-taskies. ;-)

I was so favorably surprised when I opened the mailer and saw this wonderful baster. It is bigger than I expected and very attractive. The wooden handle has a graceful curve to it and gives it a very handsome appearance. Yes, this is a rave about something as ordinary as a baster, of all things, but I can’t help it because I think it’s that much out of the ordinary. I like nice things and this is certainly one of them. It is not just a pretty face either because it works great too!

I love Le creuset products and this baster is another of the company’s nice products. It’s a good size for the hand to use. It is easy to clean. You remove the basting end from the wood to preserve the wood. If need be, just wipe the wood clean with a slightly damp towel. I will definitely purchase another one.

I got the items and it came on time and I am able to use it in my party. The item is easy to clean.I do recommend you if you are interested.

Ottimo pennello in silicone e resistentissimo alle altre temperature. Usato addirittura per ungere con olio piastra in ghisa su fornello acceso. Temperatura altissima ed ha resistito benissimo.

Parece de muy buena calidad. Seria perfecto si la silicona es de calidad platino, pero supongo que no lo es. Parece duradero y es super práctico a la hora de limpiar.

den ich bisher hatte. Große Fläche, weiche "Borsten", der Pinselkopf wird abgeschoben und in die Spülmaschine gesteckt, ich benutze ihn insbesondere zum Verteilen von Marinade und Öl, dafür finde ich ihn perfekt. Und gut aussehen tut er auch noch....
