This is my second order of these lights. They hold up in all types of weather and perform perfectly. I have mine hanging off my pergola and they get enough sun to light up even in the winter. The lights are bright with an antique type appeal. They are perfect to blend with halloween decorations or for summer nights. I highly recommend them.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought 8. These are very nice lanterns. While not bright enough to read a book by, they provide decent lighting for my backyard firepit area and look great. I agree with all the positive comments others have made. My one concern is longevity. Like most solar lights, these use an AA NIMH rechargeable battery, in an application where they rarely get fully charged during the day but completely discharged most nights - a recipe for certain early failure. The batteries in these units are soldered in, not plugged in, so the option for refurbishing these units will be somewhat expensive & overly complicated.

I'm happy with the quality and style of the lanterns. They are a little smaller than I expected but create the ambiance I was going for. They last about 8 hours per charge.

I was very impressed with how realistic they look. The battery life is impressive, they will run all night. Pretty sturdy, mine fell off from sitting on railing and didn’t phase it. Flame can be see from a distance. Great price!
