Review: A most excellent Movie set... - It's been an absolute age since I watched the OG Jungle Book, and now that I've watched it again I have to say I was remembering the OG with rose-coloured glasses. It's not that it's bad, far from it, it is an undeniable classic, of that have no doubt. It's just that IMHO the remake is better, especially when it comes to Mowgli, who comes across as very arrogant and generally unlikeable in the OG Movie, more so when compared to Neel Sethi's portrayal in the remake, a stellar performance if ever there were one. As for the Movie Set, it is amazing value for money as you get two classic Movies for a very low price, and on BluRay to boot. A must have. A most excellent Movie set...

Yes jungle book reworked is still a great movie.

Impressive animation
State of the art animation, hand drawn in the 67 version and computer generated in the 2016 version, put an entertaining spin on Kipling's tales. Both worth having.

Disney classics
Bought this as gift for a little boy who loves animals. Both the original cartoon and live action have been watched and rewatched over and again. Another Disney classic!

Have owned the cartoon version for some years. Was interested to see how the new Jungle Book matched up. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Found it to be a worthy successor. Mowgli, what a star!
