Good product
I think it's a very good product. It's a boot and there's lots of them out there, but this seems like a good choice. I've had it off and on for a few days now (peroneal tendonitis, I think) and am very pleased with it. Fits right, comfortable, seems well made. Has allowed me to get around without crutches and the inflammation is easing up quickly.

Has been good protection, comfortable, a good support
After a recent incident where I ended up rolling my ankle into a midlevel sprain I needed a boot. My wife found this United Ortho Short Air Cam Walker Fracture Boot and - thanks to Amazon’s overnight Prime option - we bought it and had it here the next day. After almost three weeks I can say this United Ortho Short Air Cam Walker Fracture Boot has been a great asset for me, helping protect and give a place to heal my foot, while allowing me to also safely walk as soon as I was able to be up on it.The United Ortho Short Air Cam Walker Fracture Boot is mostly well designed with good materials and has stayed strong throughout. I will say, due to my injuries I have been unable to put the United Ortho Short Air Cam Walker Fracture Boot on by myself throughout. My wife has had to do it. From my standpoint, it would be a little hard at times - on and off can be a bit painful, but as we got used to it, less issues happened each time. We also learned a few “short cuts” such as having the inner boot inside the outer boot and me setting my foot into the whole unit - rather than putting it into the inner boot and setting both into the outer boot - saving me pain from the narrow opening. The pushbutton air filling mechanism is in an... okay spot. I again could not do it myself until recently, but even for my wife it meant a kind of “bending” to reach it for her. And it requires a pretty solid, hefty pumping motion in order to get the air in. You’ll work for it. But with each pump I could feel the air entering and could talk her through what and how much I needed. So from that standpoint, it worked well. And the mechanism works outstandingly well when emptying, Over the three weeks I only - somehow we still can’t figure out - accidents released the air once. The inside feels good and comfortable, but equally supportive even without the air. But that air felt so much better once in. I never felt weakness nor discomfort when wearing or walking. I never wore a sock in there, and mostly remained cool and comfortable, but maybe twice I did get a bit hot. Nothing slipping off the outer boot didn’t help. Even the inner boot was comfortable alone and while it didn’t give them the same level of support, it reminded me to watch out for my ankle and kept it from giving way - I never walked with it alone. The United Ortho Short Air Cam Walker Fracture Boot included two cushioned pads you can set inside, securing with velcro, in order to provide more cushion and aide in proper fit. We used these every time and they worked well. I do wish they’d include a second set as these two - while still being good and can be used in the future - do take a bit of a beating. It would be nice to have that second set as a back up.In the end I’m still using this United Ortho Short Air Cam Walker Fracture Boot for another few days to week, and from the first time we slipped it on, my wife and I are both happy with how well it worked. It has helped me through and I am grateful for it. Any “cons” are so weak they would not keep me from using this now again, or getting another just like it (hoping I never need to, that is).

Good stable comfortable boot
Great boot, comfortable on the foot. It’s lightweight, solid, and easy to use and adjust. Unfortunately, it caused me to be too uneven and caused me to have severe sciatica down the opposite side. My job requires extensive walking so it was a no go for me. I suspected it would happen and warned my doctor, but he insisted I try. He actually selected this boot for me on my app while sitting in the exam room! A normal person, with an actual disc in their lumbar spine should not have that problem. My back does not have stability, as most of my disc was mostly removed in surgery, hence the lack of cushion when my legs are at slightly different heights. Just something to consider if your back is messed up like mine.

Great for my broken foot
This boot is great - broke 4 bones in my foot - was in a tall boot - this one allows me to walk easier as it rockered on the bottom and shorter. Seems like a very sturdy boot so far. I did put a soft insole in it, but other than that my foot is happy.

Great walking boot
Bought this for my broken foot, been wearing it for a week now. This is a great boot that supports my foot and allows me to get around well. I'm able to do all my daily activities and walk moderate distances without stressing my foot. The air inflation is key - it both stabilizes my foot/ankle to minimize movement and increases comfort, particularly where my shin meets the top of the boot. I'm able to adjust it for different scenarios - tighter for walking, looser for when I'm less active. Highly recommended.

VERY COMFORTABLE AND WELL WORTH THE COST
For reference, I wear a size 8 shoe and I ordered the size "small" and it fits perfectly. My neighbor gave me a very similar boot that she got from the medical supply store (per rx) and that thing hurt my shin really bad. I didn't even want to walk because my shin hurt more than my ankle without the boot. I received this boot today and put it on. OH MY, what a remarkable difference. Much more padding everywhere, including the shin area and footbed. I didn't use any extra pads or inflate what's there. Also, my neighbor's boot was very heavy and cumbersome to walk around with. This one is much lighter and I'm having NO difficulty using it at all!!! Let's face it....none of us want to wear this contraption, but if we're forced to wear one, we should at least be comfortable in it. If you can afford to purchase this yourself, it's WELL worth the money. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Watch Sizing on This Boot
This boot is well made and easy to put on but it does run short. I ordered a Medium for my mom, who wears a women's size 11. It should have worked per the size chart listed but, it's too short. Her toes stick out beyond the boot sole. Beware of the sizing issue if you order.

Works great - pain is gone in 4 days. But will keep wearing to give my Peroneal Tendon time to heal
Just what I needed! I have what is probably Peroneal Tendonitis that was getting worse and worse until I could barely walk when I ordered this boot a week ago. I'm on day 4 wearing it and no pain at all today for the first time in weeks (months?)! Would be 5 stars but the boot was hurting my shin and I couldn't get the provided pads to help much. What did help was wrapping my lower leg (and over the shin) with bubble wrap (small bubbles) that I had laying around. No more shin pain!Pump worked great with no leaks. Really tightens the boot around the foot and holds it still so it can't flex. The ridge on the bottom of the boot so the foot can rock rather than flex works great too.
