Initially, I was completely apprehensive about buying it, since I was buying it for the first time and also I didn't have a single idea about Shea butter. Moreover after reading so many negative reviews about this product I got more doubtful, but in a way after much second, third, fourth and so on... thoughts, I bought it. And today when I received it, even without tearing the plastic sheet cover, I could make out that the container was only half filled, anyways I opened it and found a really bad smell, as if there's castor oil all around me and all kinds nuts out there mixed and there oil taken out and mixed with it plus some vegetable oil as well and obviously the bottle was half filled.So to know if the product I've received is good or not, I literally read 3-4 articles about Natural Raw Unrefined Shea Butter and how can we check if it's the correct or perfect one or not.So this is what I got to know :• Shea butter does not go bad easily and does not have a chemical smell.• If a Shea butter does have a plastic-like or otherwise chemical type of odor, chances are it has been treated with some kind of deodorizer or otherwise refined—which is not good.• Shea butter will have a mild scent that is a bit earthy or nutty.• Shea butter will have an almost instant soothing, protective and anti inflammatory effect on the skin.(While everybody's skin is different, all skin types can benefit from regular high quality raw African Shea butter use. If yours doesn't, there's something not right with the Shea you've got. )Remember to pay attention to how your skin responds and that there is no chemical odor coming from your Shea butter.( All these are copied from one of the articles that I read, bcoz I'm a bit lazy to write so much 😉😉😉 )So far it's ok in it's in physical appearance, very soon I will use it for my diy work and maybe after that I can give a perfect review.Thanks for reading!!!

Grainy,i thought it would be smooth

The shea butter I received from Amazon was expired and rancid. At first, I didn't know that shea butter could go bad but I was weirded out because I got the the same brand shea butter from Nykaa (just a smaller tub) and that was silky and smooth like ghee. Amazon one on the other hand was hard and smelled pungent and bad. I thought this was just a different version like how there are white and yellow versions of Vaseline petrolium jelly but after doing some research I realised I got an expired one. I suggest check the texture of the butter and the smell of it is ghee-like consistency and doesn't smell then it is good otherwise if it is hard or smelly then it is bad.

Its an original pure product with its distinktive smell. Yes, it doesnt smell like roses but it is what it is and its not that bad I even like it. I use it as it is.

Very good quality it will gives you soft and dry free skin amazing very good for dry skin and affordable prize good packaging just loved it..

The Product is Good and even as for the quality its good.Only thing is quantity is too less.
