Formula 1 615867 Bug and Tar Remover (473 ml)

Awesome product. Very penny spend is worth it. Work perfectly on tar and left over sticker adhesive. Tar will melt like butter just 1 thing to keep in mind, older the tar on your vehile, more time it need to work on. Very simple to use, just spray on effected area, let it sit for awhile and swipe of with clean cloth n boom.....tar is gone.

The product works well, but we need to apply a quite amount of pressure to clean of the tar not an easy task.

SUPER AMAZING PRODUCT. Its a very good product and it delivered what it promised. During this heavy monsoon season when i washed my car, i found roughness in the car body mainly till the mid section of the car. Also a lot of black Tar marks were there. I used this products and it have removed the Tar marks and also the roughness of the body panel. I washed the car thoroughly with shampoo and pressure jet. Then wiped off the water with microfiber towels. Then once the car body is completely dry i sprayed this product on the lower part of the car (almost till 1 feet from below) where mostly the tar marks were there. Left it for 10 min & them wiped it with a dry micro fiber towel. 95% of the tar marks are gone in 1st wipe it self. For few tar marks i have to apply little pressure on the towel while wiping it off. The roughness is gone leaving behind again the smooth surface as it was there earlier.

Not instant results with this. Ideal for minor tar sticked but does not remove any.glue.

This thing actually works. I was a bit skeptical before but after using it very happy with the results. I have a white XUV500 which had tar stains due to road laying work on highway during my recent trip from Bangalore to Nagpur. I would recommend using this product in shade and when the surface is cool. Just spray and leave it for 4 to 5 mins. After that wipe with with a microfibre towel and use a second towel to buff the surface. No need to spray much once the towel becomes wet with the liquid. I would recommend it to hurry much and leave stains if still persisting for cleaning after a few days. In my first attempt I was able to clear 80% stain and will clear the rest in second attempt in few days. This also leave a wax finish after buffing and smells good too. You will save a lot using this than doing to places like 3m who quoted me 7500 to clear all the stains. Just have some patience.

Probably got a fake product as it did nothing to the tar spots around the wheel arches Subsequently used the ABRO bug and tar spray and it was super effective Have asked for a replacement let’s see I thought Formula 1 was a trusted brand

This is a good product to remove tar stains from Car. The only difficulty that I felt was its use. It is very hard to rub over and over again in a particular surface to remove the tar stain. There was no scratches on the surface after the procedure. I'm satisfied with this product.

I bought this for exactly the reason that is claimed. Remove tar. Diesel and other common suggestions are an option but thier effect on paint and clear coat is uncertain. So ordered this and after testing on a small part of rear bumber, I feel that this thing works! The tar spots formed by driving on new roads or by tar breaking off from hot roads that adhere to the bumper was removed. You may need some rubbing. Better leave a nice thick coat on aggected area for a couple of minutes. Remove with a soft cloth. Some rubbing or repeating is needed for bigger stains. But is does dissolve tar and leaves a shiny paint behind.

Removed a large lump of tar of my car that I could not remove with standard washing products easily. Good stuff

The stuff is great love it unlike other bug and tire removers I have used this 1 does not remove the clear coat and only removes the nasty stuff

First of all, the pump to spray the solution didn't work. Had to put it in another bottle. Then I went out and sprayed it on my car like the directions said. Didn't do a thing. Not even a little.

I was able to get tar off that had splattered on my car. It took a lot of scrubbing and buffing but it did work.
