CasioYouth Series Digital Black Dial Men's Watch - AE-1000W-1BVDF(D081)

This is one time peice I have been longing to buy, though I kept pushing it for my next purchase on multiple occasions. The order was delivered on time as mentioned. The packaging was well done... It had a hard cardboard box as outer packaging and original Casio box on the inside. The Casio box too was a premium kind in its own way. The cisioning inside Casio box was better than those I would have seen in more costlier watches bought from exclusive stores. Coming to the real product, the watch is a gem, no doubt, it looks much beautiful and sophisticated than how it appeared on the sites. I registered it on Casio site without any hassle and hence I don't have any doubt on its originality or the watch being genuine Casio. The functionalities are something which I have to explore in coming days. Last but not the least I am happy with this purchase experience.

Note: (The following review is written in 2024)7 years of owning this macho piece and its going Great yet 👍🏻 … Never did I change the battery or the strap in all these years. I still use it during adventure travel, exercise and swim. A must have (especially if you do not want to own the G-Shock 😉)Note: (Following is my 2nd review after a month of purchasing the watch). Its been over a month of use, and I must say that it is indeed a very resourceful watch which serves its purpose totally. It does survive rough use. About the amber backlight; for me it isnt an issue cause the digits are pretty clear while in the dark. Moreover about the scratch resistant quality of the glass it seems a bit vulnerable, but if used a bit carefully, it persists. (i havent got any scratches yet... none). Overall, i would definetly recommend it. Note:. (MY FIRST REVIEW immediately after receiving the watch).....{At a first glance, it is an elegant looking watch...(not compared to g-shock) i dont know why people say it's appearence isn't good... i did like it (as i knew what i am buying and for what)... it is certainly a resourceful watch (in terms of features), especially for people like me who travel much.... i have not yet tested the durability and toughness (as it hasn't even crossed a full day on my hand yet), but as it is a 'casio' i think it should behave like one ;) overall a very good watch which serves its purpose totally.}

It's a decent yet cool digital watch at an affordable price. The build quality is good, over use may erase out the ink on the outer rim of the watch. On the first day of the watch I took it in shower. I wear it like all the time still its in good build. At times the display fades out but it comes back to normal, maybe some minor battery issue. Over all, good work casio. Also amazon was prompt enough in delivering the product on time.

One of the great watches at this price range. Light weight with most of the handy technical features of accurate time keeping, as would be required by outdoor and field work personnel. The major drawback is the back light being "amber" coloured and the illumination does not glow up the entire display panel uniformly. Additionally, the display would have been scratch proof. Still, a great product!Only major issue is that if its imported from "Global Store" your government ID proof at the time of delivery is shared to the 3rd party courier services....

beautiful watch at a very affordable price in amazon. the dial is not very big, so it suits thin wrists as well. Unlike other casio watches which have very big dials and which suits in thick wrists only.its because of the smaller dial size and the exciting look that i bought it. Very light weight and build quality is nice. Setting of watch is easy

I am not sure if I received an original product, it's light is soo dim that you have to strain yourself to read time and the LED should light up the whole screen but it lights only on one side as if there is a yellow bulb hanging in a corner of a room. Its Quality is not worth the money. For this quality I could have purchased a local unbranded product. Really disappointed.

It is light weight, sturdy, looks good. This watch is Value for money for anyone looking for a sports watch.
