I had a problem with Algae in one of our diesel tractors that kept plugging the strainer inside the tank. I got rid of the strainer and used this in the fuel line outside of the tank where I could easily change it out and it has done a great job. I was a little worried about the material breaking down because of the biocide needed to kill the algae, but it held up and caught a ton of it. Having the clear plastic allows to easy checking on not only how dirty the filter element is, but also what it is catching. Even with a gravity fed tank to the injector pump, I did not have to worry about the filter not flowing enough fuel to keep up. Worth every penny

This filter is 3/8!!! The description doesn't list the size. I squeezed it into a 5/16 tube but it's there is another part number for that size. Seems well made.

This quality Wix not only works to perfection, but its clear shell allows you to see it working and let you know when it's time to change. It's the size of an egg, doesn't affect your flow rate, and is easy to install. Great value for another quality Wix product.

Swapped out the existing inline fuel filter with one of these. I wanted one that I could see the fuel flowing through, and this fits the bill. It's only been a month so I cant talk about longevity or anything like that, but so far so good.

Love WIX filters, surprisingly enough the Case 580k uses an in-line filter (cross ref'd to WIX 33003) before getting to the dual canister type diesel filters which are before the pump. All my air and fluid filters are WIX!

Good filter

After searching aimlessly for far too long on-line, I finally found this little gem that will replace my "extremely rare and hard-to-find" fuel filter for my Hyosung 50cc scooter. It arrived in a day, and I couldn't have asked for anything better than this inexpensive purchase! AMAZON....you're my favorite now!!!!!

Wix filters are are the only ones I use. My mechanic swears by them as well. Outside of factory supplied units that Ford, GM and others specify they are simply better quality.
