- ADHESIVE HEAT MAT - HabiStat's adhesive heat mats are thin and flat so they can be mounted unseen into almost any set up. Our heat mats provide a very gentle warmth which the animal can sit under or on top of - used under normal conditions, these mats will not burn the animal. Our adhesive heat mats can be fixed to both the inside and outside of enclosures. Our 28 Watt heat mats are 59cm x 28cm (23 x 11”) in size and give a gentle background heat.
- INFRA-RED HEAT - Our adhesive heat mats produce ultra-long wavelength infra-red heat. This action of heating is very similar to the sun, and it has the ability to heat anything that it strikes but with the air temperature remaining much lower - reptiles absorb this in a manner very similar to basking in a natural environment.
- SUITABLE FOR REPTILES - Heating mats provide a steady source of direct heat for your snakes, geckos and other reptiles! If you are keeping animals that require higher temperatures, then you may need additional supplemental heating. Many diurnals or day active species of lizard require basking spots of rather high, localised heat!
- EASY TO USE - Most reptiles require a thermal gradient in their vivarium. These adhesive heat mats should be fixed down on one end of the enclosure - no tape necessary. In a glass or plastic enclosure, these heat mats can be positioned inside or outside.
