This has been my daughter’s favourite since she got it a few days ago.The music is beautiful, and so are the drawings.The buttons are a bit difficult for my little girl to press (2 1/2 yrs old), but she’s proper proud of herself when it works and it has been a firm request before bedtime since she got it.. She loves the story and is especially intrigued by Carabosse, the mean fairy..

Nice illustrations, and colours on the page. Good small excerpts of the Sleeping Beauty Music.I will probably buy more of these books in the series.

We are fans of this series and have the Four Seasons and Nutcracker books as well as this one. It’s a great book to introduce children to bits of classical music and we found they encourage our 6 year old to read the story herself. Although there is still a lot of turning to the back to just listen to favourite clips of music. The pieces of music are very short, but we don’t mind this as we choose to find longer versions of the clips our children like elsewhere for them to listen to. Wonderful books and we will buy more in the series. These are perfect gifts if you know any children who are book or music lovers.

This book, and the others in this series, are really lovely. my kids love them, and I like listening to the snippets of classical music!

This is a truly beautiful book however I do agree some of the song extracts are a little on the short side. It doesn't detract from the story or the beauty of the book however I would recommend anyone reading this with a child has the full Tchaikovsky ballet available to listen to as it will leave you wanting more (music)

This is honestly the most beautiful children's book I have ever come across, it is so special. As a professional classical musician and early years music specialist (and mother of a young child) I am always on the look out for high quality music-related products, but they are hard to come by. This ticked all the boxes; an eloquent retelling of the story of Sleeping Beauty, with magical illustrations and good quality sound clips, plus information on the ballet and composer at the end. I will be buying the other books in the series, and giving them to all the children I know, for Christmas!
