I have tried using various kinds of ground-up peppers to spice up my home-made Pad Kee Mao, and nothing comes close to this perfection! Perfect flavor complement, and good heat without requiring me to add large quantities. This is also excellent when I want to add a bit more heat to other dishes or even take-out.After using it a few times, my son bought his own to take to college!

I use this as a substitute for crushed red pepper. Sometimes you don't want the crushed red pepper stuck in your teeth. Only use 1/2 - 3/4 as much since the Thai chilis are spicier.
