Zero Documentation, on your own.
Links provided to Youtube provide no information on this device. Additionally http://learn.acrobotic.com/tutorials has a bad certificate so your IT team needs to fix this ASAP. Even after making an exception there is no documentation there either. I am going to "assume" the ESP8266-01 faces towards the USB port meaning the board is above the device. Would be really nice to know before we burn stuff up. Lucky for me I understand all this but your supporting data sucks. I would recommend you provide a direct link instead of dumping customers off into a page full of other stuff. Not all that complicated but basic instructions go a long way. Curious why this has "Raspberry pi WIFI module" in the title when it has nothing to do with a Raspberry pi. If I can get documentation and test this I will leave a proper review.

Driver Required! Works like a charm.
ACROBOTIC ESP8266 ESP-01 Serial to Wi-Fi Module Programmer Compatible with Arduino NodeMCU Raspberry Pi Wi-Fi Module ESP01 Whatt I liked: Socketed design that the EPS8266 just plugs into. Why I liked: Other programmer have wires that you have to hook up to the device being flashed. The problem is, the names of the wires don't all match, i.e. CTS, RTS. Yes, I know what the acronyms mean; however, they don't have any meaning in relationship to the ESP8266 pin names. Also, none of these come with instructions. So just being plug-in and go means ALOT. Furthermore, when you search around for information/diagrams of how to wire the other devices you inevitably find tat tey want you to do additional wiring on the programming pins, i.e. ard wiring "programming mode", or hardwiring EN to Vcc. In reality, the programmers with just wires seem like they want to wire into a breakout/programming board which supplies all the other requirement.SO much easy to pop your ESP8266 into the socket on this ACROBOTIC programmer, plop it into the USB port, and flick the upload button.. You get that? Pop, Plop, & Flick... Bliss.OK, there is one thing you need to know before using. You need a driver for this device, and it isn't supplied. In fact it isn't even mentioned (minus one star). Here's what you do:Point your browser at: https :// 14core . com / drivers/They have drivers for many kinds of devices. You are looking for the CWH branded driver.Specifically "CH340 Communication Driver " for your OS.After downloading, attempting to install, and failing, I just right-clicked on the .inf file and selected Install ;-)After that, when you plug the programmer into the USB port, a new COMM port shows up and is available inside the Arduino IDE.

Helpful switch
Works great and makes programming an esp-01 little easier than the similar looking model without a switch. The other model needed to have a button soldiered on to be useful for programming but this one already has it.

Makes ESP8266 programming much easier.
Has a switch for program or uart modes. Would have given 5 stars, if there had been documentation and/or a video as stated in product description (-1 star). Will order again as well as other products.

It would be great... If it actually worked.
It would be great... If it actually worked. In the end I had to revert back to my breadboard adapter.
