If I could give it more stars I would! I accidentally broke my Keurig and after reading reviews about this, decided to replace it with the Ninja and I couldn’t be happier! I’ve got several other Ninja products and they never disappoint. This is no exception, and has exceeded my expectations. I love the attention to detail—the built in storage for the filter versus the pod inserts and the scoop with recommended scooping amounts written on the scoop depending on the ounces you plan to brew. I also love that it can do a classic versus a rich brew and can do all the way up to 24oz! It is definitely much hotter than the Keurig too which is a huge advantage since I like to mix my coffee with frothy milk and I was always pretty disappointed with the Keurig’s results—not this one, it genuinely delivers a rich, hot brew that doesn’t get watered down when you add your milk! Plus it was basically the same price range, and I love the navy blue color. Can’t beat that. I can finally taste the actual flavors of my flavored coffees and that’s kinda the whole point of having my own coffee machine at home, so yay!!!

I was reticent about buying this, but it seemed like the best option for making coffee by the cup. The system uses pressure to brew, which it provides with a pump. Heating is also fast. So you push the button and you have your coffee faster than a Keurig, even when using the grounds basket and a very large mug. Which is the only way we use it. The only minor fault is that the quantity isn't correct. I have a 24 ounce mug, which I have checked with a measuring jug. If I select 20oz on the machine it fills the mug to the brim. 18 produces about 20, which is significantly short of what I'd like to have in a 24oz mug.

I was looking for something with a slim profile to replace my very large Keurig that had the frother cup on it that made it very wide. I looked for a long time before I landed on this Ninja and I’m happy I chose this one. First of all, let me say there was an issue with the one I first ordered (leak in the interior water reservoir that couldn’t be repaired) but Ninja quickly made it right and sent a warranty replacement. The replacement works great. Here is what I love about it: 1) I can fit a travel mug under it without removing the drip tray. 2) The drip tray is adjustable so if I’m using a smaller cup, I can move the drip tray higher so it doesn’t splash. 3) I don’t have to wait for the water to warm up before inserting the pod and pressing brew. I don’t keep mine plugged in so when I want a cup or coffee, all I have to do is plug it in, insert the pod, and press brew. No wasting time waiting for it to heat up so I can go get dressed for work and when I come back, my freshly brewed coffee is waiting for me. 4) Slim profile doesn’t take up a lot of room on the countertop. This is the only appliance (along with a small espresso machine) that I will actually keep on my countertop. I will say, I recommend getting these sliders because it makes it so easy to move the machine out from under the cabinets in order to insert the pod. I have used the Ninja Pods and Ground Single Serve Coffee Maker four times so far, and I am very pleased with the coffee quality. The machine was easy to set up, and I appreciate the color. I would definitely recommend this product. It beats Keurig machines hands down! At least in my opinion.

You can use all coffee pods with the insert or your own ground coffee. I drink iced coffee and it brews the coffee without watering down the taste.
