Softens beard before shaving
This is a replacement for an old product, Remington Pre/Aft lotion. I absolutely loved my bottle of Pre/Aft, and it lasted a long time, but eventually ran out. This product appears to be the same as the old one, same smell, same texture.... I used this for a few months before TSA took it while trying to fly to Vegas (they took my 3oz bottle of zinc sunblock too, even though the threshold for liquids is 3.4 oz., but that is another story. Anyway, good product, and I will buy it again... just don't try to take it through TSA.

Makes shaving with my Remington HF9100 a dream come true!
The best find for my shaving needs, and maybe yours, too! There aren't that many pre-electric razor shave treatments out there. Especially none that do what I want: set up my facial hairs, moisturize while I shave AND after, and smell nice. Eltron (Parks) Pre/AFT Combo Shave Lotion does everything I want and need and even what I never even dreamed of: a subtle and light smelling, cooling, and moisturizing aftershave...who would have thunk it! Really, this is the best-kept secret out there, that's affordable and as good as the discontinued Jack Black Electric Shave Lotion, and that one needed to be rinsed after shaving and wasn't aftershave. So good I bought second right away...! If you shave with an electric razor, do yourself a favor! Get some Eltron (Parks) Pre/AFT Combo Shave Lotion and feel awesome...Highly recommended!

Works well, but smells like strong chemicals
Works well but has a strong chemical scent that doesn't go away quickly. It does help the electric razor do better and not leave nicks and bumps, but the scent just icks me out.

Great product! I shave dry with a Braun Series 5 electric razor. There really is no need to apply it afterwards.

Best pre-aft product on the planet!
I tried Eltron Pre-Aft because other pre-shave products I had used were overwhelmingly alcohol-based and noxious. Breathing in the fumes was extremely unpleasant so I would have to hold my breath until the product dried, not to mention that they didn't work that well anyway. Fellas believe me, you are better off drinking your alcohol then breathing it. At first I thought that Eltron was too pricey, but not only is it very refreshing, and effective, it also is economical because a little bit goes a long way. A bottle of Eltron lasts me 3 times as long as a larger quantity of alcohol-based products, is twice as effective to soften whiskers and 10 times more pleasant to use. Try Eltron Pre/Aft and you won't regret it!
