My sheepskin rug now looks and smells good
Easy to follow instructions and the sheepskin rug I washed now looks great again. I was a little sceptical about it working because the rug looked really awful but after a wash and brush it looks really fluffy again

Worth the money
Brilliant product, and does what it says it can do. Only down side to cleaning a sheepskin rug is that it takes a few days to dry!

Great product
I have bought this product one before to wash my sheepskin rug that suffers from being by an open fire. It does an excellent job. It is also perfect for washing all woollens, especially great for cashmere. I had one cashmere jumper that had felted slightly, but after one wash with Woolskin Woolwash, it was restored!

Excellent product with perfect results
Amazing product,I put the recommended amount in washing machine and then tumbled the rug dry on the gentlest silk setting.its beautifully clean and as new and has brushed up to a soft Downey finish,I was very nervous about this as it was an expensive full skin, but I thoroughly recommend it,don’t be nervous just give it a go.

Not sure it actually did anything that water wouldn't!
Followed the instructions and managed to wash my sheepskin without turning it into a crispy rawhide so that was good... But this stuff doesn't foam up at all so I'm not convinced it did much. It claims to be conditioning but the wool came out full afro and took days of brushing to make it any softer. So I did manage to wash my sheepskin using this, but I'm not convinced this product did anything that I couldn't have done using just water. I guess it faintly smells kind of OK!

Cleaned the rug well .
This wool rug shampoo got so much dirt out of my old sheepskin rug it was amazing .The only downside is the back,of the sheepskin has turned very hard and brittle .Maybe I used the shampoo too strong when washing the rug in the bathtub .However as I only use the rug beneath my glass coffee table it really doesn’t matter too much .At least the rug pile is like new ,all lovely and soft ,unlike the back .Would use it again ,but not for a rug that is stood on .

Great product
Purchased to wash sheepskin rug never been washed in over 30 years. It was looking pretty sad!Washed by hand in bath tub and layer out to dry outside on table. Took two days as it suggests. Get yourself a sheepskin brush as well.It looks better than I every remember.

Washes but doesn’t lubricate sheepskin - pointless
I bought this specifically as I believe it would lubricate the back of my sheep skin but it didn’t. It washed it nicely (like any other gentle detergent) but left the skin really hard even when I dried it slowly in the shade. I had to buy glycerin and wash again. Waste of money. You might as well use gentle detergent and a bit of glycerin. Pointless product
