No HD streaming
Tablet has a fantastic screen, build quality and battery life. Unfortunately it does not play HD content in most streaming apps. May look to purchase again in a few months if they work out the software issue

Great!....except for.....
I will start by saying I also have the original (and wonderful) OnePlus Pad (let's call it Pad 1), and a OnePlus 12R phone. I have a 2nd line that is not a OnePlus phone. My carrier is t-mobile.I will first address another review which stated that HD streaming content is not displayed in HD quality on the Pad 3. Actually, yes it is. Pad 3 has beautiful resolution. The HD display is gorgeous, all content is gorgeous, streaming or otherwise. Upon initial download, one does need to go into the streamers' app settings and adjust what is usually a lesser quality display to stream in better or best quality. I have had to do this in Netflix, Prime Video, and I think Hulu, as well. See screenshots. I also get Apple+ TV, but I use my browser for that and the quality is always excellent without looking for a way to adjust it.The issue I have with Pad 3: the "mobile data sharing" feature (no SIM) does not work properly. After setting up multi-screen connect on the Pad 3 and on my 12R phone (a recent model OnePlus phone is required to use mobile data sharing), both say it is connected, but it is NOT connected. It should be. This works properly and without fail on my Pad 1. But on Pad 3, after the multi-screen connect setup, you then have to connect to your OnePlus phone's hotspot....for 10 minutes!....after which, you must remember to turn the hotspot off on the phone before the Pad 3 will auto connect through multi-screen connect to the phone's mobile data. This process is as ridiculous as it sounds. And I wonder if OnePlus made a deal with the carriers that requires the user to use up 10 minutes of hotspot before the Pad 3 will be allowed to switch to mobile data sharing. Mobile data sharing is NOT the same as hotspot! And it is very irritating, on the OnePlus community forum, when OnePlus tries to pass them off as the same thing. I have a T-Mobile plan which includes truly unlimited high speed mobile data, no slow down. Hotspot is a different matter. I have 40 GB of high speed hotspot. If I need more, I'd have to purchase it. So this 10 minutes required usage of hotspot, per connection, is a plus for the carrier only! Again, the mobile data sharing feature works flawlessly on the Pad 1, so yeah, you might consider that one instead. I think you can still buy it.I give the Pad 3 a full 5 stars for screen quality/display, function, build, etc.But minus 1 star for mobile data sharing not working properly. People with OnePlus phones really look forward to that feature in buying this tablet, and if it's a flaw and not a deal with carriers, OnePlus needs to get after it and fix it! If it's a deal with carriers, OnePlus needs to disclose that prominently in the item description wherever it is sold and listed for purchase.I'm doing my part here to inform. If you're not a OnePlus phone user, and are accustomed to a strictly WiFi tablet and usage, you should be perfectly content with the Pad 3 without the very unique mobile data sharing function.I'm keeping the Pad 3 because: a) I have two lines with a total of 80 GB of hotspot I don't use for anything else, and a OnePlus phone, b) I already have the OnePlus Pad (Pad 1) as backup, and c) it's an impressive deal pricewise for the excellent quality of the tablet, even if it was only a standard WiFi tablet without mobile data sharing capability.

Wrong configuration advertised for $699
This product is missing the 16gb of RAM. The technical reviews (ie Toms Guide) on the internet calls out the larger memory and latest technology/version to buy in the USA for $699. I’ve contacted the maker (OnePlus) and was informed that it isn’t available for American consumers and wasn’t sure when it would be here. I’m waiting for the correct configuration advertised before purchasing. Hopefully Amazon or some who cares about the consumer steps in to resolve. Thank you.Note: 16gbytes of RAM is a higher rated speed and newer technology which improves performance and is the version to buy if desired.

Five Stars ALL THE WAY
Let me state at the beginning, that I am an iPad Pro 12.9 6th Generation user. I purchased this tablet simply because of the stellar reviews that I had seen on YouTube. The reviewers are accurate! This tablet rivals any iPad on the market, and I have owned at least five or six iPads over the past 12 years. The OnePlus Pad 3 is buttery smooth, the display is top-notch, the glare is minimal, the speakers are phenomenal, and the aluminum body is sheer perfection! An equally equipped iPad Pro 12.9 or 13 would cost at least $500 more. The only thing that the extra $500 would get you would be the ability to FaceTime, and to receive iOS text messages. Both of those features I can do without on a tablet. If you want to save a heck of a lot of money and get a top-notch tablet that you will not regret purchasing, plop down your $700 on this one! You will not be disappointed! It is truly spectacular! This tablet rivals any iPad Pro for a fraction of the price!
