These pillows are excellent but very hard
These offer amazing support but they are pretty hard so the first couple of nights it might be a little bit hard to get used to, I think they soft and up slightly after a few days but when you first get them they feel as hard as a rock if you're not used to something like this but you're probably not going to find any other pillow that offers this type of support, if you got a pinched nerve or a disc hitting your spinal cord and you got a lot of neck pain you might want to consider something like this, I bought a medium and a large size and the medium was just about perfect,, the largest slightly too big but I was kind of expecting that, I bought the medium size one to sleep with and the large one to use during the day like if I want to watch TV and prop my head up a little bit or something, it's a little higher off the bed, but once you get used to it is very comfortable, it may be a little bit expensive for the pillow but it's a really good value for the money when you think about the amount of support and hopefully pain relief you might get from it, I can't sleep on a regular pillow anymore because my neck hurts like you wouldn't believe but this allows me to get a good night's sleep and not be in pain all night,

It’s pretty firm, but good
Don’t expect this one a bit sync down two or 3 inches, because it won’t it might sink down a half inch to 3/4. Actually, I really like it. It feels good but I might would’ve got a medium if I knew it wasn’t gonna sink down at all.

I am going to purchase the medium as well
it is a really great pillow. And I had one from them before that I loved. But I must have gotten the medium. This time I bought the large and it is just too big for me. I am, however, going to order the medium. Because I really loved my pillow that I had before. And I especially like the firmness of their pillow. It is firm, but yet it is not too hard that it hurts my head, but it supports me nicely with its firmness.

Suggested measurement too high
It wasn't as comfortable on my neck as the one I had originally. The measurement I was advised to order was too high for my neck to be comfortable. I returned it and went back to an old buckwheat pillow I already had !

Worked well to help alleviate my neck pain earlier this year.
My cervical stenosis was flaring up earlier this year after I did some exercises improperly (bad posture). I was doing my PT exercises when my doctor suggested I try this pillow out. I purchased it and another pillow because after reading the reviews this pillow is good for neck pain but is really hard. I gave it a try and after a few weeks of using good posture while exercising and sleeping on this pillow my neck felt better. The pillow is designed well but it has one flaw it is hard and became uncomfortable to sleep on when my neck was feeling better. I switched to another pillow designed to keep my head in the proper position while sleeping because it was comfortable; yet, I still use this pillow when I experience some neck pain during the day. I like it but it would be nice if it wasn’t so hard. I would have given it 5 stars but I dropped a star for comfort. If asked does it work, I would say it worked for me.

The SHAPE of this provides relief to back/side sleepers, but it is a bit too firm. will update
I am a back sleeper, very still and never move all night. The pillow is small (side to side) but works for me. I have the SAME version of this pillow, but it is older. My older one feels more gooey/dough like and my neck almost instantly molds to the old pillow compressing it very little. The newer version does not react as quickly to compress the foam and the foam is stiffer and firmer, not gooey/dough like so my head does rest a bit higher on this new one. Old foam Vs new foam is a completely different foam.+++What I love about this pillow is the SHAPE of it. This is what provides relief for my neck. If you happen to look at any contour pillows, they all market them as having 2 sides you can use. A 3.5" and a 4.3" are the typical measurements for those contour bumps. BUT if you want to use the 3.5" side, the other higher side still keeps your head up too high pushing your chin into your neck. The center slope is not low enough either. I consider that a major design flaw that they used in a way to market it to more people, large or small. It does not work for smaller people.Temperpedic has designed these CORRECTLY so you pick your own size pillow!! Small, medium, or large. These are the sizes of the contour bump heights, NOT the size/width of the pillow! I LOVE the design of this pillow, it is perfect for me having only one smaller contour and the other end flat. My chin is NOT pushed into my neck. Just a bit too firm, but not skin numbing firm. Not sure if I will keep it or not just yet.For side sleeping, this pillow's shape works for me too. My shoulders are not broad and my mattress is extremely soft so my shoulders do sink more into my mattress so a high pillow is not required for me for side sleeping. Again though, the pillow is a bit too firm and does not mold to my head/neck nearly as much as my old original Tempurpedic pillow does. I may try to heat it with a hair dryer or put it in the dryer first to see if that does anything for it before using it next. I wished they offered this in different densities.

Odd shape but it’s HEAVENLY.
I’ve had this Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-Ergo Neck Pillow for months and it's been an absolute necessity for my sleep quality! After struggling with regular pillows that left me with morning neck pain, this oddly shaped pillow has solved all my problems. The memory foam contours perfectly to support my head and neck in just the right position—firm enough for proper alignment but still comfortable enough to feel luxurious. Yes, it's definitely more expensive than a standard pillow, but considering how much time we spend sleeping, it's absolutely worth the investment. The ergonomic design might look a bit unusual at first, but the function completely justifies the form. Since switching to this pillow, I've been waking up refreshed without any of the neck stiffness I used to experience daily. If you've been dealing with neck discomfort or poor sleep, this pillow might just be the solution you've been looking for!
