Great night lamp. I have had it for a long time now and it still works perfectly to the "touch." Has the 3 light intensities. looks good. Looks just like the picture.

This was exactly what I was looking for! Yea!! Very sturdy lamp for a smaller-type bedside lamp, thanks to the deceptively heavy base. Simple and classy looking. Doesn’t look like it belongs in a dorm room like some of the other lamps like this. Don’t forget to unscrew the retainer ring on the lamp socket before placing the shade on top...you need to screw the retainer ring on after you position the shade to stabilize it and hold the shade onto the base (there were no instructions to do this and at first it wasn’t intuitive to me, so it took a couple minutes to figure out). I purchased a round-type style lamp with a silver base from a different company for a more feminine bedroom that I am redecorating, and although it was also very nice and had 3-levels of touch control as well; the base was not very heavy and it didn’t come with a bulb (I ordered dimmable 60 watts bulbs for it, but it was an extra step that could have been avoided by simply including the bulb, like this company did !!). The bulb that came with this delightful little lamp was slightly unusual looking and very nice! It came screwed into the base in the box, so no danger of breaking during shipment. One, two, three...., easy, breezy, couldn’t be simpler. I haven’t tried it out long term yet, but so far......I love it!!

Just received two lamps and they were well packed in their boxes. Lamp shade is completely wrapped in a thin clingy plastic. Be careful removing it as shade fabric could be easily marred or damaged. Assembly was straightforward taking only about 1 minute per lamp. Using supplied bulbs, the three power levels worked as advertised. Highest brightness is very good. But I like to use dimmable wi-fi bulbs with my lamps, using Alexa to turn on/off via programmable scheduling. I used my go-to brand Kasa (TP-Link). These are not really meant for the stepped dimming function of these lamps, but if the power level of the lamp is on its highest setting, those Kasa bulbs worked fine. Via Alexa commands, each lamp turned off but would not turn back on again with Alexa command. Had to go and tap each lamp to get bulbs to light up. I have these bulbs in two other touch-base lamps and they work perfectly. The instructions do mention that using LED dimmable bulbs may not work well, and to use incandescents instead. I'll keep these as their design and style is really want I wanted, and see if I can figure out on/off thing later. UPDATE: I figured out the "on/off" thing. As long as lamp base is set to highest power, that setting should hold going forward unless the base is touched again.

This Japanese inspired table lamp is well made, easy to assemble and so convenient to use. To activate it, you only have to gently touch it anywhere on the base and the job is done! No more struggling to find the nob or switch or chain that turns most Lamps on or off. The unit I bought developed a problem that caused it to stop working. I was advised to contact the company, and very soon a very pleasant Customer Service Representative arranged for a new lamp to be sent out to me post haste. The replacement lamp worked perfectly and I even received follow-up emails to make sure I was satisfied with the new lamp. Who could ask for anything more?! Such a great product and such a wonderful company. I will be buying more lamps from them as they have many other gorgeous designs, all having various high tech features. I've never seen such incredible lamps like these before. So glad they're available to help out eclectic folks like me. I highly recommend this Lamp company!

I went out on a limb and ordered two of these lamps to set on either side of our couch. I have to say they are worth it! They were easy to set up and the touch control is enjoyable compared to hunting for for a small knob in the dark. For the price it is very well made. They are beautiful to look at and tie the room together. They are rather small as I had read and expected but that's exactly why I wanted them. One thing I didn't realise is that the base is a deep chocolate brown, which is not a draw back for me at all. The three brightness levels are noticeable and the lowest setting is perfect for lounging about in the evening. The higher settings make this a great bedside reading lamp. Overall: I received two well packed lamps that are: easy to use, have a simple modern design, are made well, work great with our room, didn't break the bank.

yes I like it. It sits on top of my china cabinet. All I have to do is reach up and touch it to turn it on and tap once or twice to brighten it and again to turn it off. It makes a great little light to add a little light into my dining area so it isn't so dark. and of course I can touch if I need more light

I had a very old and broken table lamp I was using above my computer desk for years. It was basically held together with tape all this time. I finally got tired of looking at it and decided to look for an affordable replacement that gave enough light for me to read and write with it as well as look good. This lamp did both and then some. It gives me enough light to see what I'm doing and allows me to use the low setting to set the mood or watch a show/movie on my computer without any annoying glares. I also love the way it looks as well as how easy it is to tap into the 3 different brightness levels. Was very easy to set up and worth every penny. I might consider purchasing another one for the living room.
