The switch solved my problem. Easy installation. Had to use wire nuts and splice the wires, (4 of them), together. Switch was tiny bit larger than original one. Along with the 4 extra wire nuts and additional wire lengths. It made stuffing all that back into the fans housing challenging. That was not the switch's fault. If you can pack 3 days of clothes into an overnight bag you got this easy. Hint use the smallest wire nuts necessary.

This saved us. It was great to just replace a small (very easy to install) part in our ceiling fan. Saved us a ton of money and time not having to replace the whole unit. very handy

The switch arrived quickly (next day). I appreciate that it was not wrapped in plastic, just loose in the envelope. As others have mentiioned in their reviews, the colours of the wires did not match the original. I mapped the order of the wires starting at the pull chain and this worked perfectly. For a very modest cost we are back to having a ceiling fam that operates at 3 speeds. Thank you Amazon!
